Here's the thing: When a guy or girl is smart, nerdy(depending), respectful, and has things going on for them successfully, why do they get overlooked. For example, most women like the bad boys that use to be in jail, or treats them badly. Personal Experience: I had a friend's friend that would not break up with her boyfriend despite him physically battering her. The reason: SHE LOVES HIM. she said he was hot, strong, and has tatoos despite being an A***ole. Stole money from her, and all that.

I guess nice guys and nice girls finish last, huh? I mean, don't you want a smart guy or girl that can solve problems like building a rocket? You would want to depend on that person. Personally, I like nerdy girls. I prefer women with a good personality inside than gorgeous on the outside. I mean if she looks good, its a plus, i'll admit, but not my number one list.

I will always root for the underdog girls. Any guys and girls who want to root for the underdog? Maybe, people are being picky nowadays, or the world is being stupid. What do you guys think?

I used to agree with you and still do in some ways but I found a girl who likes me for being a nice guy. There will be someone who appreciates your well behaving nature especially if she's been hurt in the past.

I've often asked myself the same question. I'm a good person and know how to treat my man. It seems that no matter how much or little I try, I can't find that one to appreciate me and be willing to take a chance. How do you convince someone to give it a try? Sorry, I'm not answering your questions...just adding more.

not true some of the bad boys as you call us are really good hearted men, I have the tattoos the Harley's. And am pretty nice I do charity work, have done lots of charity events moved 800 miles to take care of my father. But if you saw me riding in town with one of my bikes if I pull up along side of you you would lock your car doors hurry past with your family, and never make eye contact with me, that my friend hurts my feelings becuse if you were broke down on the side of the highway the two people who stop to help are who? Truckers and bikers.


So my friend don't judge a bad guy or girl by whats on the outside, it is what is on the inside that counts ones actions.

Hey Thunder...I personally don't consider guys like you "bad boys"...I actually don't judge whether a guy is good or bad by their outside appearance...it's by how they treat others.

lol thank you don't allways get that on my scooter people will hide run lock doors. I have feelings like everyone else and have been told allot i look like a bad boy, its not a bad thing people dont mess with me when i go out. But people also judge me.. I guess it is sad no one sees me It may be my fault my choice to get the ink all the ink has meaning though. if i cover it and dress up im treated like everyone else wear what i think is comfortable and everyone looks at me like im trash, funny thing is i was a senior technical support engineer in jax fl for a web hosting development and design company, so guess im a bad boy geek

I like that...bad boy geek I know what you mean about people judging. I guess I just don't do that. I was raised to see the heart of a person and that is what I do. I don't understand why others judge those that carry tats so harshly either. I don't have any, but would love to have a small one....and it would have meaning to me, just as yours do to you.

My married (male) friends tell me how awesome I am; and how they wish they'd have met me earlier...yet single guys keep walking..
I think the taken ones have time to get to know the person without being so worried about the wrapping I come in.
I've been told I'm the kind of girl you take home to meet mom; not the kind of girl most men want to go out with.
By the way; 'nice girls' usually find 'bad boys' very HOT...

I agree. I am a very caring and understanding guy. I treat everyone with respect even if I dont know them. I go by what is on the inside and take it from there.

Eh, I have allways been the type that If i say I want to do this, then I go and do it. I notice lots of people that are close to me, are like, Yes I want to do this. Then I run off and do it, but they never move....

I tend to have another of those sterotypes going for me. Flyboy, look at my photo, I'm actually quite nice save maybe a little cocky. It's great I just tend to attract the no offense intended, dumb blonde, types. You know the sort that knows more about nail polish than she does about anything else. That sort. I don't scare people the way thunder does but, I know I'm pre-judges as an airhead as well and that is most certainly not the case.

Good news is I have my music and recently met a very special friend who sees me. She sees the cowboy, the biker, the gentleman, the geek and the man. She tells me I am an angel and I tell her she is wrong I am just a man I breathe and I bleed

awwww....I wish you the best of luck! Just for the record, you may not think you are an angel, but if she tells you that, you are an angel to her! I had one of those, but unfortunately he passed away almost 3 years ago. He felt the same as you do, but he was MY angel.

Congrats Thunder. I thought I had met someone who liked me fo me, but I was wrong. I am in the process of moving to Arizona due to a job transfer and since she lived there I figured it wold work out nicely since I dont know anyone there. We have not talked in 2 weeks but yet she said I was everything she was looking for and could not believe I was still single. I just wish people were honest with me and themselves.
