Just lately I have been receiving mega-tons of spam sad sad

I wouldn't mind if I had visited the porn sites,
but it feels like someone is using my email to register and they are getting the eye candy and I'm getting the spam...

Maybe to even things out I should use everyone's email (except family) in my contacts list and register under their names?

Thats what happens when you email someone from this site....always use mingle mail for at least a month(most scammers will give up after a week)until you know that person is for real...good luck getting rid of it!

Not to come off as brash or judgmental, but maybe it's time for you to cancel your current email account and create a new account somewhere else. It might stop some of the spam. And, yeah, Serchin's right. Don't send any emails to people who give out their addresses on the first message. I don't. I guess, lesson learned?

I usually just eat it straight from the can. But fried up with some sunny side up eggs sounds delicious too! biggrin

Thank You for all the laughs and advice.

I discovered it was being forwarded from an ancient Yahoo account I had.
So I deleted the yahoo account and everything is Bob Marley again.

why do you worry so much about it?
ignore and move on.

anyway at the very first conversations you should be understanding it. it is as clear as a bell at this site who is a scammer and who is not. i dont understand how people fail in understanding.

I'm okay with spotting scammer's
And NOT emailing "Dodgy/Suspicious" ladies on this site.

I got burned several years ago,
shortly after getting divorce,
and she (the scammer) took me for about 3K
so now I know how to spot a scammer lool

Thank you Butribu for pointing out is a spam topic and not a scam topic.
But its all good, I love a good laugh and there is no harm done,

Sometimes a forum member may accidentally or inadvertently hi-jack the topic, and I guess that can't helped.

If you're using yahoo that's why. I suggest gmail as their spam filter works pretty well for me.

always good to use a Web-based E-Mail-Address!
That way,if it gets cracked and you get more Spam than legitimate Mail, you can abandon the Address, and create an other one!
