I’m currently trying to embrace Christianity into my world picture, but there are obviously going to be some major logistical problems associated with that.

I can only thank God that different interpretations of a single religions are acceptable. This is one thing that Christianity has surely shown the world with something like 2500 different sects.

I’m thinking about starting number 2501.

After all, these sects have to start somewhere right?

It will clearly be something along the lines of "Pantheistic Christianity"

Obvioulsy we have different 'definitions' of what it means to be a "Christian' is all. That's hardly reason to call someone a liar.

By your definition I've always been a Christian then. I've always believed in God, I've always believed in Christ, and I've always believed in the Holy Spirit.

As for me, feralcatlady, I think fundamentalism is unhealthy, and I for one denounce it vigourouly. 'fundies' would probably put it this '... hate the sin, not the sinner'.

So likewise, I hate fundamentalism and denouce it, but I love and have compassion for the 'fundie', and will do all that I possibly can to help the 'fundie' correct his sinful and unhealthy ways.

When you are ready explain your veiled and reversed logic accusations, and resume exchanging with me in good faith, I'll be happy to respond in kind.
