Topic: Would You Rather love & Lose or Never Love At all? | |
---|---|
I am just curious as to the thoughts on this topic. Lets say you are dating someone you really like and having a great time, but for some reason know it will likely not last. Do you hang in there for the knowing you will have some great memories when it is over.....or do you walk away and say "I am not going to open myself up to being hurt"? Would You? |

Would You Rather love & Lose or Never Love At all? You can win and lose at it your entire lifetime so I cannot imagine doing without it for any reason. |

(In realm of "romantic" love only)
This one is difficult, but not really. I have NEVER felt more lonely than lying next to someone who is a million miles away. However, I COULD NOT IMAGINE a life without ever feeling the ecstasy of passionate love! |

Please understand this is "type speak"
It comes across you have or had a FWB encounter . Just asking if she feals the same will help to clear your mind . |

I have loved and lost as well as made the choice to end a relationship that I was not happy in.. Would I do it again hell yea~~~
I could not image anyone that would choose to never feel love or give love even if it ends in heartache... |

If a person is not willing to risk the pain of loss they do not deserve to feel being in love.. the old cliché is " In all love there is some sorrow, but the greatest sorrow is not to love"

Would You Rather love & Lose or Never Love At all?
Depends. Do I get to like love and lose over the course of 60 years? Or like I get to love once, when I'm 17, for 6 months, and then never again for the rest of my life? If I have to never love at all, do I have to realize I've never loved at all? Or can I have compensation? Like a great, meaningful career, friendships, family? Or is it all love in any shape or form is forbidden? Or do you mean I have to think I'm in love, marry someone, and then have them tell me they never loved me, and when I'm 90 and on my death bed realize I never really loved them either? If I have to play a game I want to know the rules, how to play, and limiting conditions. Lets say you are dating someone you really like and having a great time, but for some reason know it will likely not last. Do you hang in there
Maybe. Depends on how I "know." Because I can always be wrong. |

Personally I would only go into a relationship if I thought it was going to last x

anything is a gamble in life
even though there are no guarantees I will never regret jumping in with both feet and holding on tight for at least I can say I was not a side line player in my own life |
