Definitely a great movie. Check out the book, because it is good too. You also get to read a chapter of "The Princess Bride 2", which will never be written.

Best movie ever made, IMO. It has everything, action, romance, comedy, there isn't really a dull moment in it.

My girls (ages 8 & 16) are huge fans too... and most likely not a day goes by that we do not use a line from the movie in our everday lives ;o) LOL

*Have fun storming the castle!*

Whn my girls were little, I had to buy a copy for each grandparent's house and my sister's because if they went over and the movie wasn't in the house they would scream.

Now they are 15 and 16 and I have two copies on DVD because if we can't find one the other is in my room. Oh, and anytime someone uses the word "inconcievable" we just start cracking up.

One of my favorite lines: "Sleep well and dream of large women" and of course "oh....Hello Lady" (Andreflowerforyou )

great movie, but seriously, if you liked the movie, read the book. The movie barely touched on some things that the book explained, and now when I watch the movie, parts of it make more sense (like why fezzik was rhyming randomly on the boat)...
book's amazing, and believe me, I'm not a reader by any stretch of the imagination. now the movie just seems second rate.
