Theres a Rose who roams these halls
She came here long ago
Broken and shattered
Empty and cold
With the help and love of special gardeners
She planted roots
Fed and watered daily
She soon began to heal
Her dry,cracked and browning stem
Grew strong, sure and green
Her leaves once decayed and rotten
Began to sprout anew,a deep luscious green
The bud of this Rose, curled inward tightly
Black and rotten, so afraid of sun light
Slowly turned a deep purple
Her petals started to slowly and surely unfurl
The deep purple changing before their very eyes
To a deep red center to a soft pink tip
Today ,despite the rain
This Rose slowly blooms
Her petals opening ever so slowly
Soft and shiny in the light of day
This Rose is here to stay
Strong and sure, she grows more and more
Each and every day, her blooming so beautiful to see
This Rose, this small rose is me...
The gardeners, my family and friends found here...
And I bloom because of you

OMG, girl as I sat here reading this one I have tears streaming down my cheeks this is one ROSE IN BLOOM that I have sat and watched as it slowly started to change. It has been a beautiful sight to see and soon you will be in FULL BLOOM its not here yet but in my heart I can feel that it is very close indeed. This has been one of those things one sits back in AWE as you watch it happen step by step and what and AWESOME SIGHT to see. I LOVE YA G,/F
