A Dream Come True

In my life of countless dreams, and thoughts that I have known
That brought me peace through long dark nights, that I have spent alone
There's always been a faceless being, whose always touched my soul
To rest me to another day, and guide me to my goals

A leading hand when I was lost, that helped me find my way
A gentle voice when times were hard, to chase my fears away
A comfort that surrounded me, when lifes cold rains would fall
My faceless being was always there, to help me through it all

I grew to find I counted much, on moments we would share
The times when she was needed most, I'd always find her there
She helped me grow through loneliness, she must be from above
I could not live without her, she taught me perfect love

When racing through my fast paced life, and doing what I must
She was there to bring me peace, inspire me with trust
Through all the long and lonely years, she lead me on my way
Guiding me to something grand, I knew I'd find someday

Now this being begins to change, take form within my dreams
She changes more with each new day , her face forms now it seems
I ask myself "Can this be real? What am I to do?"
But now I know, and worry not, for Sweetheart, she is YOU!
