I never intended to ever find out why they deact. I was just asking for ppl's OPINIONS. LIke I said before. Dam, do I always have to repeat things. Some ppl just can't listen now, can they. It could be for any number of reasons. Since this is a dating site and people are keeping their options open, I'm sure they're a part of other online dating sites, and their is "real life" searching, perhaps they found someone and to be completely devoted/faithful to that person they close this account.

It's also possible that they were new to the site and didn't want to stay a part of it...lost interest or didn't like the site.

Maybe it was a spam account, and the admins closed it.

Maybe they really were just toying with you, but what a waste of time for them and for you.

Who knows why exactly?

most attention whores stick around and make every one's online life miserable. Deactivating is not the work of such and individual I think it's deeper than that.

I disagree I am not a player and I deactivated 2x. the first was beacuse of all the DRAMA going on and I just needed a break from it all. The 2nd time I deleted was because someone was talking behind my back and I wanted to find out who so I deleted everyone on my friends list, deactivated and came back 2 days later. When I came back my TRUE FRIENDS knew I was back and all was fine. I told them why I was deleting in IM and they knew how to find me. Sometimes we all just need to step back and handle our everyday lives . For every step forward you take try taking to back and repeating this for a few days and see what happens.
