Ok, a serious answer from me (not that it matters).

It's not just guys that deactivate their accounts when talking to someone, lots of people do that and it may not even have anything to do with you at all. I mean, I get bored with this site sometimes and I don't talk for weeks or months. Maybe they just got bored or they found someone else and they were so excited about that, that they forgot that they hurt your feelings. I have not read ALLLLLL of the comments on here so I'm sure others have said the same thing but I guess the point is, DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!!! This is just a website, nothing more.drinker

Hi Winnie, I deact. too for about a week. I just want to know why a guy starts talking to you and then BAM, he disapears. That's all I asked, and yes, your right, lots of hostility tonight. Ppl need to relax. I know I do. It just irritates me, when some ppl act the way they do. Hell, just today I got an e-mail from a guy I used to talk to on here. Hell, we even went out for coffee once. Well, I went to reply to his e-mail. And guess what happened????????????? His acct. is deact. SEE WHAT I AM SAYING???????????????? Why bother to write and then deact. before I got a chance to reply????????????? That is just so childish. MEN GROW UP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not all you guys, so, plz, don't take that the wrong way. flowerforyou flowerforyou

Well, time fer ole Knox to weigh in here:

Hi SWEETENSEXYBflowerforyou ,

Personally, I thought you asked a really good question.

It's been said by others here. People deactivate for different reasons. It's up to the individual as to whether or not they want to let anyone know why. Some people start a "I'm deactivating" post. The funny thing about that is the ones who do start one of these rarely if ever deactivate. Some people just deactivate, no explanation. If I'm gonna walk away for a few days, I won't deactivate, I just won't go near my computer during that time.

I guess what I'm trying to say that every deactivation has it's own reason. Some are honorable, others less so. If you're talking to someone, and they deactivate all of a sudden, it's not your fault. If a person goes to that extreme to avoid talking to you, that's their problem, not yours.

As I said earlier, SWEETflowerforyou , that was a really good question, one that makes people think. I don't know whether to be amazed or saddened by some of the childish remarks made in response.

I need to invest in a violin for this forum. So many people love to complain about people not responding to their emails, not finding someone fast enough, people who deactivate, etc. I think this speaks volumes about why some people have trouble finding dates in the first place. Stop taking things so personal people! I know it's not easy, but try to be patient and keep an open mind.

Wow Saturn. Did you even read the topic???????????? It wasn't a question about ppl reading their e-mails. The question was about guys deactivating.

Knoxman, Thank you for your thoughts. I appreciate you saying this was a good subject. I thought so. We all have different opinions on things, isn't that our choice?????????? To speak our minds???????????????? I'm glad so many ppl have things to say, even if some of them get off track.

Sincer, It's not my fault if ppl misinterprut what I said. I'm not changing Who I am, Or what I am for ANYBODY. I think it's called freedom of speech. Isn't it??????????????????

Uhhh.. yes I did. If you read *my* post I was speaking on the forum in general. There have been several threads here in the last few days with people whining about various silly things. I'll quote myself since you obviously missed the point because everything is about you apparently:

"So many people love to complain about people not responding to their emails, not finding someone fast enough, people who deactivate, etc."

"Stop taking things so personal people! I know it's not easy, but try to be patient and keep an open mind."

People = people, not just you.

If you don't want to change or feel you shouldn't have to then don't expect a different result. Obviously it's worked so well for you so far, right? Right?

Freedom of speech means we also have the freedom to call you out on your crap and show you that you are being a whiny slit. It goes both ways.

*Insert annoying string of punctuation marks and emoticons*
