so, Cosby is being set up by these women? How many? I wouldnt say 'set up', so much as used,, like he was back then,,for the connection and relevance it gives them, or to clear their conscience of their own responsibility in their choice of extremes they went to back then to associate in certain circles or paid back for what it didnt develop into although most have been safely vague enough not to actually claim to remember a rape ,, but just that they took various substances around him and passed out... No.. some actually do remember and successfully fought it off and left. And some do not remember the actual rape because they were slipped drugs which rendered them unconscious. They do remember waking to find that they were undressed / partially dress and Cosby was undressed.... thus they were raped.... as they lay unconscious and helpless. Time for him to stop hiding behind his wife and talk... don't ya think... You know, act like the man he actually portrayed himself to be. NOT all the women were completely unconscious or incapacitated. Some were able to fight back. Including one of the two black women, who realized immediately, that he put something in her drink, she yelled at him & hit him & left the room. He went after her & then grabbed her by the neck & dragged her down the steps. She thought he would break her neck. She remembers the sound of her heels clanking on the steps. He then threw her out the door. * She was no good to him conscious* She is the first black woman to ever be on the cover of Vouge. * No, not his doing , on her own accord * ----------------------------------------------------- It is all the the link with the list of women, I described as 'very lenghty' If anyone bothered to read it before they defend ANY & ALL.. BB & B * Black Men Behaving Badly * Must be rough hating yourself & all women & blaming them & yourself for what men have done. |

Her name is Beverly Johnson. One of the first to bring this to the surface. And I am surprised you would say you never heard of her as we all had this conversation about her on the first Cosby thread.. back when she and the others first brought it out. And YOU commented on Ms. Johnson.. on a few posts, something to the effect of her now being only a small time wig company owner and small time actor / model. Although her net worth is currently over $5 million dollars. And looking at her acting / modeling credits/ career. they appear to be quite impressive and ongoing. Actually if you look at her life.. it is very impressive. And she did it without Cosby. Is it coming back to you now? |

In the first place, the guy is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Regardless of what he has said on the matter, he is entitled to his day in court, and that is guaranteed by the Constitution.
Secondly, there seems to be a disturbing trend when it comes to this kind of situation...despite legal rights when these kinds of allegations come to the surface, the justice system seems to be turned around and people tend to look at it as someone is guilty until he can prove his innocence. I'm not saying this specifically for Cosby. I notice it in every story that comes out about this subject. Thirdly, there seems to be another trend...people let years go by before they start to say anything. That statute of limitations someone spoke of isn't the fault of prosecutors or the government...if people don't say anything right away, they cannot complain about the law itself. Whether anyone here wants to admit it or not, Bill Cosby has already been convicted by the media and all of you people who start hollering "guilty" and the guy hasn't had one opportunity for a legal defense or anything. Let the legal system do its work, it isn't up to you or me to judge. |

I for one, have no problem... GUILTY.. based on the woman's reports AND Cosby's OWN words. And it is our right to speak up when we feel a injustice has been done. If justice cannot be served in a courtroom, it will be served in the public's opinion of the person. One way or the other, it will be served. As it has been The guy has had nothing but opportunity. But he choses to stay silent. Why do you think that is. |
