I pity any person who needs to consume alcohol in order to socialize.

I pity any person who needs to consume alcohol in order to socialize. Totally Agree. Its not Being Social,Or Being Yourself. I personally Wont Date A Drinker |

Lol...I go out with friends sometimes intending on "socially drinking"....and honestly I have a great time 90% of the time...as far as dating goes....not the best way to get to know a potential companion....but I have had a lot of fun with strangers and random conversation while out...

I Met A nicue Guy Once..
was Fun To be with,A Great Looking But After A Few Times out His Drinking Habits Became An Issue Once He Was Comfortable, and let his true self show he was drinking 8-12 beers a day to relax.. he never got out of control or sloppy.. but just felt i couldnt bond with someone that needed alcohol that much.. we are still good friends,i just wont date him.. |

Social Drinking To Me....
a drink or 2 once in awhile.... not to relax after work nightly. definately not when meeting someone new as all women should be careful. |
|

|
Social drinking is a lot different then alcoholism...kinda sad how many people justify a problem with drinking by claiming its a social thing...I have been known to go overboard at times...when I am single and just going out with friends...and I have blown a couple possible relationships with my overindulging...but when I find myself genuinely interested in a gentleman...I prefer doing things that don't evolve around a few drinks...at least not every time we are together...

well said kind,,,,
I can handle a social drinker, wine in particular is actually healthy if its not overdone, and some people enjoy the taste of beer(though I Cant see how..lol) if people have wine with dinner, or a glass at a social gathering, or a can of beer, it doesnt bother me( as long as its not on their breath if they are trying to kiss me,, yuck) but when people consume for the purpose of and to the extent of becoming 'drunk',,,,thats no longer a socializing factor, its a serious issue,,, |

I pity any person who needs to consume alcohol in order to socialize. Well, we can always pour it all over each other... That's fun, too ! |

I;m not keen on people that drink a lot. And if someone needs it, no way can I live with that.
I don't like drunken women either. They're horrible. I'm not sure if it typical for UK women, but I've had 3 British girl-friends that turned out to be real alcoholics. And boy were they a royal pain in the @$$ when drunk! Impossible to be friends with. One got me in a potential dangerous situation with a bunch of construction workers who smelled easy p**** as she was so drunk. But I was there as well, couldn't leave as she had to drive and we were in the middle of nowhere in the Australian bush. I don't think I can live with a man if he needs alcohol on a daily basis, even if it is just a beer. |

I very rarely drink, i really don't think it's typical for uk women, Everyone I know is just like me, has a drink occasionally. Teenagers are pretty bad, but arnt they all lol |

Teenagers ... pfff... What I've seen is that boys usually start with beer.
Girls on the other hand start with ... breezers and tequila!!!! Teenagers in general tend to start drinking at home before they go out, to 'warm up' without spending a fortune in a pub. Then they go out and drink loads more. I so hated it when my kids got involved with friends who did this, cause they started doing it as well. And SO glad they're 24 and 21 now! They don't drink much anymore, if at all. |
