Teenagers ... pfff... What I've seen is that boys usually start with beer.
Girls on the other hand start with ... breezers and tequila!!!! noway frustrated
Teenagers in general tend to start drinking at home before they go out, to 'warm up' without spending a fortune in a pub. Then they go out and drink loads more. I so hated it when my kids got involved with friends who did this, cause they started doing it as well. And SO glad they're 24 and 21 now! They don't drink much anymore, if at all.

Yup, I've heard of teenagers doing that now to.

Geeez if I had started drinking before I went out, I would have been on the floor by 11. Lol. I've never handled alcohol that great, doesn't seem to agree with me. I only like champagne now, but drinking doesn't appeal to me much anymore.

I;m not keen on people that drink a lot. And if someone needs it, no way can I live with that.
I don't like drunken women either. They're horrible. I'm not sure if it typical for UK women, but I've had 3 British girl-friends that turned out to be real alcoholics. And boy were they a royal pain in the @$$ when drunk! Impossible to be friends with. One got me in a potential dangerous situation with a bunch of construction workers who smelled easy p**** as she was so drunk. But I was there as well, couldn't leave as she had to drive and we were in the middle of nowhere in the Australian bush.

I don't think I can live with a man if he needs alcohol on a daily basis, even if it is just a beer.

In England, the Scottish folks are known for being piss heads, they like a drink. Lol

Yeah I know. But somehow it feels different, dunno know why.
Over here the English are know for being piss heads as well. And usually they are very annoying drunks.
In the late 70s - early 80s we had a lot of blue collar English come over here to work. And they were horrible. I've been harassed by them a number of times, I really hated them. Drunken f*****s groping you between the legs when you were ordering a drink at the bar etc. Bah!! I was only 15! You don't go about harassing teenage girls. Dutch men wouldn't have done that, certainly not back then.
Never been to Scotland, so I don't know how they behave when it comes to sexually harassing a girl when they've been drinking.

Funny enough my English friends from Essex don't really drink at all. One of them cannot hold alcohol, he's worse than me, lol. His girl friend however is an alcoholic. She's the only one from that group that drinks.

Men like that everywhere I guess. And when I went to Spain, well all I can say is they made english men look pure and innocent. Lol. Bad eggs everywhere I'm afraid.

As some has said someone that has to have a drink or several everyday is a alcoholic.. Then you have those that may have a drink whether it be at home or out a couple times a week. Of course you have those that only drink a few on a rare occasion. Then the ones that hates the taste and do not drink...

Myself I go out with friends a couple times during a month we all go watch a local Classic Rock Band... And for sure we go to watch them and have a few drinks..

But we don't have to have a drink to be around each other, and many times we will have a get together at each others house and we bring what we want to drink.. Not a thing wrong with that..

As far as dating if you have to have a drink every time you are with that person then I would say take a close look at the situation.. For most likely they could not be for you..

Regardless if they drink or not as long as everything is done in moderation I don't see it as a problem..

Now if they get sloppy drunk every time yes there is a problem..

I do not drink ...
But, I'm okay with periodically being
around someone who drinks occasionally.

However, I have absolutely no use for a falling down, sloppy drunk. And, I have no tolerance for a mean drunk.
