I Don't Understand Why People Don't Take Time To Read A Person's Profile. They Just Look At The Pictures.

I think they look at pictures because there are so many and if there isn't attraction they don't feel the point in taking time to read through a profile

its just a way of shortening the pool

I read profiles from start to finish.
Sometimes, several times.
All part of being a good stalker.

I agree even if someone is attractive you are wasting your time if you don't have anything in common, However I do believe sometimes people are just flirting or curious.

I agree with msharmony and jacktrade. I do both of thoes things. I know what I like, so I narrow the search down to a few prospect,then I skim through those few Just looking at their pics. Then I pick Three our Five that I'm interested in,and that's in my area. Finally I read all about them,so I can see which one I would more click with and be able to kick it with from time time. To me we have to have more to offer than some pretty faces or nice looking bodies.

Read the profiles? Sometimes they don't ever read the replies to the messages you were sent. I cannot understand how someone asks me a question that I had already answered in a previous message.

Sometimes reading profiles is the human equivalent to taking ambien

A shortage of time causes many people not to read all of a profile which has a lot of information. I believe they mostly view the photos, then perhaps take no more than a glance at the profile of a person they like the look of before contacting them. So I have a few photos but not a lot of details in my profile.

That's just a total mystery to me as I place equal amount, if not more- importance on the information contained in their profile as I do on a 2D image.

I try to read profiles when I do look at one, but I give up if it's like trying to read alphabet soup.

op no ...not a lot do ...but when they do some find a Hi... or site has been deleted ... I read if I am interesting with something about them ... but have heard more people find someone they like more in the forums then the other way ... how true is that... I have no clue

I stand solidly on the issue that ignorance, or ignoring the information on an individual's profile is just...STUPID. I am, a daily smoker with an interest in blending different tobaccos to create, "The Perfect Smoke", lol!
So saying, if someone who despises, *Smoking*, near their person or in their environment, writes me, a note of *interest"[*they have not read my profile], ; well I think that's just an avoidable waste of time... Dumb. No, I'm NOT going to & do my "nasty-business" outside in the woods, "like a deer" in 30 below weather! Word! lmao!
