My name is David, and I am a geek. I spend most of my leisure time in role-playing games, computer gaming, and reading. I prefer to stay at home and cook something for myself than go out, but once a month or so I get the urge to visit one of my favorite restaurants. I think the atmosphere is as important as the food. I like comedies and sci-fi/fantasy flicks, but the last one I saw was The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies (which one was the fifth army, exactly? The second wave of orcs that never showed up?). I guess could stand to find someone who wants to get me out of the house more.
Stat-wise, I can lift boxes, I don't get sick very often, and I probably think I'm smarter than I am (and I think I'm pretty smart). I do exercises every weekday I don't have work, though it's only some calisthenics and power walking. I like to think I'm an honest, loyal, and enthusiastic person. No, I'm not for everybody (not hardly), but I'd rather search for years and find the one right woman than misrepresent myself and end up displeasing a lot more.
The last thing she should know about me: I do bite.

I'm looking for my complement. (That's comPLEment, not comPLIment!)
She's gotta be a geek, or at least inclined that way; I don't think I could really get along with any other kind of person for very long. It helps if she's into the same kind of things I am, but I'm willing to try new things if she is. Even if we don't have that "click", I'm pretty good as a healing class, and can always use someone to watch my six. (Especially if she likes the view.)
She should be talkative, or at least willing to answer a LOT of questions fully and honestly. I'm not a mind reader, and have no expectations of becoming a mind reader, so openness and candidness with me is a must. She can be shy, and withdrawn, and unassuming in public, but when we get home I want her to explode with all the thoughts and impressions she's gotten from the day.
She should bite, too.
