“I’m Still Here”


Do you see me here?
In the shadows I disappear.
As I watch each one passes me by.
At times I want to shout and cry.
I just want to know.
Did you see me long time ago?
Then without a thought you just looked away.
Did you think if you did that I would not stay?
I really wonder if you even see me.
I’m right here do you see?
There are times when we talk about anything.
As if things are in full swing.
Then sometimes it makes me wonder.
Could I be drowning and going under.
For all of a sudden it’s as if I’m all alone.
Only there if one needs a stepping stone.
At times you seem to need.
Just to be guaranteed.
That within there is a friend.
Some times just to know they will stay till the end.
At times it seems you just want someone near.
For within you have this fear.
You will be here all by yourself alone.
Here within the unknown.
Just look my way.
You will see I’m here to stay.
