For myself I would like to point out that King Abdullah is not actually fighting Terrorists he like most Politicians, are "ordering" others to do the fighting as they are safely guarded behind closed walls. The real Hero's are the men and women who are actually dying or putting their lives on the line defending the innocent.

Also, as a leader King Abdullah is a real hero. That's all we can expect from any man in any position...

There is no doubt that King Abdullah's military career is impressive. And there is no doubt that his swift action towards the current ISIS situation was also as impressive. He is a firm decisive leader.. a true leader. But I seriously doubt that he has ever seen combat.. and your right, neither did George Bush. But many other U.S. leaders have. 7 U.S.( passed) Senators have received the Congressional Metal of Honor. The highest award that can be given to a military person. It is earned by extraordinary valor above and beyond the call of duty.. on the battle field. Purple Heart recipients ( awarded for valor on the battlefield) that lead (passed or present)) our country are too many to list here, but include: John F. Kenney.. President John McCain Senator.., (POW) This just to name a few.. the list goes on... and on. So don't " cherry pick" out one of our leaders.. o.k... do your homework first.... maybe starting with your own country. |

I'm merely trying to prove that I believe men can do better, but it is also clear that most are not trying. First of all, screw ISIS and way to go warrior king! So, while I agree with you that most guys suck, most of the guys I see with girls either after them or with them are blatantly total douchebags and seriously just don't give a ****. There is a flip side of the coin with nice guys / crazy *******, but we're not talking about them. I think of myself as a nice guy. I'm definitely not a coward. Can we put 1 down for the tally now? :-) |

I'm a U.S. citizen. I really don't care if King Abdullah has seen combat. He qualifies as a hero to me and more guys should see him as a role model not as a rival.

I'm merely trying to prove that I believe men can do better, but it is also clear that most are not trying. First of all, screw ISIS and way to go warrior king! My heritage goes back many generations in the U.S. I also live in Turkey as U.S. citizens are allowed to travel to many different countries. I was not trying to put down the U.S. by saying that a leader from another country was a hero. Or when I thought the other poster was thinking of George W. Bush when he was talking about a leader who made others go fight a war on his behalf. I don't hate any country as I've always been well travelled since I was a child so don't get me into that argument. Also, I don't hate men, like the other guy said, most guys suck and I wouldn't be afraid to say it if I were a guy too. I think most women are dumb as well..but they don't do such evil in the world, so it's not a big problem.

It's not my fault, I didn't raise them. And it's not my fault that men create so much suffering on this planet...because most men do suck. Even a man admitted it, and he seems to be one that doesn't suck. If most men didn't suck then there wouldn't be wars all over the place.
