Jordan's King Abdullah II, a former commander of his country's special forces , angrily vowed to bombard the Islamic State until his military runs "out of fuel and bullets" after the release of a brutal video showing a captured Jordanian airman being burned alive in a cage. Dubbed the "warrior king," Jordan's leader has clocked in 35 years of military service. "He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn't seen," said Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., a Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, who was in the meeting with the king. "He mentioned 'Unforgiven' and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie." Hunter would not say which part of "Unforgiven" the king quoted, but noted it was where Eastwood's character describes how he is going to deliver his retribution. There is a scene in the picture in which Eastwood's character, William Munny, says, "Any man I see out there, I'm gonna kill him. Any son of a ***** takes a shot at me, I'm not only going to kill him, I'm going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down." Why are most guys such cowards and live to give women a hard time? |

Doesn't the ultimate power lie with the woman ... It's the woman that does the choosing about who she ultimately let's into her life ... Isn't it about time you realised that the kind of men who manage to charm the knickers off you ... These people PRACTISE charm ... Hunters ... whether they hunt animals, or women ... practice their hunting technique and are always searching for their next "kill ... so blatantly obvious I don'y really know why it needs to be said ... |

Why are most guys such cowards and live to give women a hard time? Male bashing again, eh? |

I'm merely trying to prove that I believe men can do better, but it is also clear that most are not trying.

I'm merely trying to prove that I believe men can do better, but it is also clear that most are not trying. How about women, can they do better too?...On second thought, I guess male bashing is one way to get their attention... |

So, am I to understand the OP correctly in that men can be "better people" by participating in wholesale revenge killing?
Don't get me wrong, I might be up for that if anyone ever did anything terrible to me, but I think it would make our police departments some very busy people. |

Jordan's King Abdullah II, a former commander of his country's special forces , angrily vowed to bombard the Islamic State until his military runs "out of fuel and bullets" "He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn't seen," I think it says a lot about the "type" of men that you must go for, since the above quotes are nothing more than a load of "empty posturing" which ... If truth be told may even have put a whole lot more of his countrymen in immenent danger ... Sometimes people in positions of power should think before they open their mouths ... |

Well she certainly would not go for an 18 year old wimp from England with no profile or backbone at all. We need more leaders who want to wipe them from the face of the earth....I applaud him! If more countries could go hang the prisoners they want released maybe they would quit the beheading and burnings! |

RoamingOrator:
I agree with you, however wholesale revenge is a healthy and good reaction to burning live people in cages. Whatever you call it and however politically correct you want to talk about it, the action of stopping them with whatever means possible is inherently good. And to think otherwise is cowardly. karmalite2: This King Abdullah guy is not "empty posturing", he has an image to maintain and a prophecy to fulfill, and he has the power and the weapons and the know-how to carry it out. He is not just talking big, I believe in him anyway. m3k4y: This isn't about the relationship, it's the relationship that is about this...this is a bigger problem. Also, I'm not and never was married. |
