When I think of my ideal woman, I think in terms of "the other half of my soul". Looking for a soulmate - a whole other soul who matches you in every way - seems like an awful lot to ask. I'm hoping to find more opportunities by asking for 50% off.

You choose your soulmate Man and woman were designed for each other, but some people are meant to be alone. Me for example, I've come close to finding love and my soulmate, even came close to being a father, but it wasn't in the cards for me to have a wife and kids, for my child passed away and my love left me. I dont have it in me to give myself to some else as I did before, not out of fear or anything, I just don't have it in me to take such a risk anymore, besides I dont think I have much to offer anymore. I'm good for maybe a night out of companionship, but that's about all anymore. I'm broken and tired and accept that I'm not suitable for anyone as a soulmate or love. There is no one out there for me, but that's OK.

It seems like that is true sometimes but in my heart I believe that there is a soul mate out there for everyone, some journeys take longer then others.

If a "soulmate" isn't a sexual thing couldn't the person you call your best friend be said soulmate..?...I mean if I think about it...my best friend is someone I trust with everything and has been there for me through all my ups and downs...just a thought...

I stopped worrying so much about that,finding a suitable partner yeah,but I wouldn't put that much effort into finding a "soul mate",I think if that's meant to be,the two souls will find each other,it's just my opinion!!

Is it just me.....or does having a soul mate just seem impossible? What if you never find them? I don't believe that there is a soul mate for everyone. It could be fate or lack of available or compatible opposite sex in your area. I believe many will die never having met their soul mate.

a soulmate is asexual...you don't find them in the bedroom, they are found within the mind, they are kindred spirits...i have had many in my lifetime, and expect to have many more...

You probably have met many of them already. Often they are our friends. Also people you meet for the first time and feel an immediate click with, as if you've known them for a long time, although you only just met. Or as if you've met them before. (you usually have). Whenever you have that feeling, you're usually dealing with a soul mate. They can become a partner, but since you have lots and lots of soul mates, they can't all be your partner Would get a bit crowded in the bedroom
