Heck....all ya have to do is raise a son to know that answer....men love almost more than women...men are more "guarded" then women I think because they have to put on the "tough guy" act...it seems to me that in most cases women can't truly love unless they are loved first...men offer their love to a woman and she can love back...If the man doesn't love you,...I don't see how you can love them...I think woman are harder then men cause we choose wether or not to accept his love...Sex is a different ball game it used to be something special,..shared by two that loved eachother....now sex is just a feeling...not an emotion...blah,..blah,...blah...have a most beautiful day...and if you have no one to love...love the moment...

You wanted the women to whine so I'd thought I would share my complaint and the complaint of other women who've said the same thing but in a more subtle way (I guess they're hiding now, only the ones defending the men are out tonight biting my head off for telling the truth).

Saying men love almost more than women is so ridiculous...are women responsible for committing mass murder, genocide, creating constant war all over the planet and many other atrocities throughout history? We all know that women are more loving than men, I was just wondering if men are even capable of love at all, it is obvious most are not. Not on this website or anywhere else..

...I have a lot of males in my family and a lot of male friends...when they find a girl they are interested in they are very "exited" and hopeful about the possibility of building a secure stable future with said girl...not all women want to be in a relationship built on love...women seem more interested in what he can provide for them,..and now days women seem to be just as bad about sex...I just think both men and women have become desensitized...but some in both sexes still enjoy true love..

I'm just pointing out the facts, it is ridiculous to state that men are almost more loving than women because it's simply not true and I gave a few reasons why. If you can make an argument rather than calling me a "bitter twisted woman" without any evidence, it would be more helpful than name calling if you want to make a point.

We have lots of loving men out there and some do love more than women and goes out of their way to prove it (I'm not defending them, I happen to know some of them)....just that they have their way of expressing it, and your experiences may have been with some of those who didn't express it the way you would have loved!

We may not have a man or woman at the moment but it is by choice, and it is always about CHOICE. It is better to have none than have a lousy one!

This OP makes me feel you're just very upset, fed up and need to vent.
Whatever it is, doesn't make it right to lash out and knock 50% of our species!
We all have bad hair days, and yes there are lots of players and a-holes out there. But also a lot of good men that have a lot of love to give.
Maybe just have a drink, chill, and think about why and how you get in touch with the wrong men all the time. The answer is in you, not out there..

Everyone loves. I've been in love before might hit my head again someday and fall in love again. But we're all human and some ppl bring it out more than someone else could.

If you really feel that way, then why would you complain that these particular men are not interested in relationships? If, for whatever reason, an individual concedes that he's currently incapable of giving love, would he then not be doing her a kindness by not pursuing a LTR?

men are seen less emotional than women, but they are still capable of expressing love to women in various ways..men view sex as an act of love and thus are likely to initiate sex the more they love their partners..just saying..

Kinda shifting gears aren't we OP? I thought you were talking about relationships not mass murders or atrocities...because if that is the case, women can be quite vicious. Why in my neck of the woods alone just recently a woman was charged with murder of her 8 year old daughter, she stuffed her in her car trunk, another fed her 8 month old baby broken glass to get money from a baby food company and yet another was charged with disposing of her newborn babies in the garbage. Last summer a woman dogsitter let 6 dogs die in the heat of her truck while she went shopping. Is that loving? I think not. On a broader scale I think woman can and would and do commit the same atrocities as men and they are sneaky about it too.

Clearly this is not all women.

But to say men love as much as women is ridiculous IS ridiculous.

When my sons have fallen in love they fall hard and when they have their hearts broken they are devastated. But they carry on and love again. They are very caring and loving fathers too. Participating in all aspects of their child's life. The men in my life have been loving too. It would be very sad to think that the entire relationships have been loveless. It doesn't always work out but that doesn't make the men numb or care less.

More men remarry after divorce or become widowed, this tells me that men do get excited about love and do want relationships. More women remain single...is that because they choose to be...or do they just choose to become bitter...Maybe a little of both, do ya think?

Believe me they can. I should know after living and loving one over 20 years. We didn't have children. We had only each other and I am grateful for every day of what used to be our life!
Unfortunately, such men are not easy to find. I understand that you might have been unlucky so far, just as I was, but you really shouldn't be so bitter.
If you don't see a man around you who might awake feeling of love in your heart NOW, than stop looking for a while and focus on your life and yourself. You can't force anything to happen.
I believe if something is meant to happen - it shall happen, but when the right time comes and if it is not meant to happen it shall never happen. You can't force anything or anyone. Relax... ;-)
Some people remain alone, some find the person they share love with.
If I came to conclusion that my chances to find a special someone in my life AGAIN are very low and gave up looking, please, please, PLEASE ...do not take me as an example.
Everyone is different and has his/her own destiny. Maybe your experience so far made you feel so bitter, but bit**ing won't help a bit. You will be perceived in a negative way, because nobody,men or women likes bit**ing. Nobody!
Maybe it's a good idea to take a break and stop looking for a while. Focus on yourself, your life, hobbies, sports, friends....anything that will help you get rid off these emotions and taught about men that you had no luck with.
Just get them out of your system, recharge and once you can calmly talk about men without feeling so bitter then decide how and where you want to go from there. Don't make any important decisions that may influence the rest of your life while still under strong negative feelings and doubts.
Relax for a while. Think about why things went wrong. You'll figure it out. I am sure you will. You sound like an intelligent woman, so when the broken heart starts speaking stop, listen and turn your brain on till things settle down and doubt disappear. It helps...;-)
