.. that is.. do you have any suggestion..
.. do you have a hobby... ... or do you just make yourself even busier... start dusting the light bulbs. in your house.... .. when you have a free minute what do you do with it.. that is besides come on here... and tell everybody what you do with your free time... Lol.... .... I will clean my house to a point.. .. then I like to do puzzles.... .. or I will go sit and spend time with my boys.... chit chat and watch them play video games..... .. but what do you do if you do not have children.... as a source of entertainment.... ... what and how do you keep your mind.. off of.... being alone...

I am one of those ****-retentives that when in the ON mode,
I have to stay real busy. For instance, when browsing the forums, I have to have a game or two on the side to hit while pages load, so I am not idle for long. In OFF mode, I lay down and read. There are not enough books in the world for me. |

Well... since a few days I started rehearsing the songs I want to sing on the King's day gig in April next year .. Printed the lyrics, put them up on the wall above the worktop in the kitchen... So when I do the dishes, I put the songs on repeat and sing along to learn the lyrics ..
That way I even enjoy doing the dishes, wishing there was more washing up when I'm done, lol. Did the same thing for this year's gig, worked like a charm! Also doing some audio workshops .. during which I sometimes do some cleaning & tidying.. Sometimes do Lenormand cards (oracle cards) .. and at the mo paint almost every afternoon .. In the evenings I like to do some power walking in between Mingling and other online stuff Skype with my girl, she's got operated again 2 days ago (the arm she broke earlier on this year needed more surgery), so she can't do much, just sit around, and she's very happy to talk to me :) Apart from that ... there's coffee

I always have to stay busy doing something and aside from housework, caring for and walking my dog, I like to redecorate, build dollhouses with all the furniture, pictures, decorations and appliances and cabinets, curtains, rugs as well. I also like to paint exterior and interior and paint pictures of scenery, love writing poetry, reading, grooming my dog, researching subjects on archaeology, especially ancient archaeology and architecture, rarely watch tv except for subjects of interest on you tube or history channel, love to sew, upholster, and refinish furniture, and listening to music.

Let's see...free time..hmmm...the fifteen minutes I get in the morning I think about things that I'm glad someone invented...like toilet paper,..toothpaste...flushing toilets...ect...
 ...sadly I don't have free time anymore...24/7somebody...I sit in a crowded living room playing with the ipad in mingleville...but when I was alone I would write,do beadwork, read how to books...or simple sit and enjoy my thoughts...hmmmm

I work 2 jobs so I am pretty busy but when I have time off I like to take my dog on long hikes,grill out and listen to my radio shows and maybe a little fishing.

 Free time? Do you find that the same place that the "extra money" everyone talks about? Don't waste either then you have both! Between mingle ,doctors, lawyers ,therapist ,looking for a new place to relocate,(after) looking for that Special Place for "peace" when all this ends! Get lost in my crafts forever!

 I just thought of a new project that i'm starting today! Dad had an old camelback trunk that he stored a woodworking machine he showed me once when i was around 4 or 5. I've never seen another since in my lifetime! It set up on a 4x8 piece of plywood. It only had one electric motor to power all the tools and had a drillpress, tablesaw, sander,Lathe, jigsaw, router, etc; just one belt( like an old singer sowing machine) powered all these tools! I think to replicate this would benefit future generations and preserve a past memory that i have! Looks like i've got a new project? I've got a son-in-law and a grandson to put to work to help me (hopefully)?
