Wow, wonderful pictures!
And moss... I LOVE moss, feeling it, looking at it, the colour .. green velveteen :) The Quranic school was quite an experience, the building a work of art! Garden problems I was not amused: coastal area, ground water levels can be high during winter... this was the worst I've had so far... fingers crossed cos that was real bad! ![]() different kind of problem... dead sea gull in my garden. Couldn't leave it there to rot, I have 2 cats.. Took me at least an hour to muster up the courage to scoop it up. I walked over to it several times, only to turn back "I can NOT do this!!!" But did it in the end, shaking like a leave. I hate sea gulls .. I can laugh about it now, lol ![]() |

Beautiful cats!
A rather upset buzzard .. it had a nest close by and it wasn't happy with me being there. I never knew buzzard could hover either, thought only kestrels did, but I saw it with my own eyes... He was actually hovering right above us, we were standing under a tree.. Mr or Mrs Buzzard really wasn't happy with us! ![]() |

It must have been a bit freaky for him to hover over you... ![]() |

I used to raise Guinea Fowl too, besides Peafowl. This was a purple guinea hen that was not culled as she should have been, thus becoming a house bird. I'd let her out to play in the yard to free range with the boy guineas and she had a mate, a white porcelain who would watch over her since she couldn't run with them and was crippled.

Kind of reminds me of a quail. Do/did you live on a farm? |

That's cool Fleta. Kind of reminds me of a quail. Do/did you live on a farm? I used to have a hobby farm. Horses and chickens too. Yeah, guinea keets look like quail when they hatch, but are more than 3 x's bigger at time of hatching. They are all of the pheasant family. |

I can't take pictures like this anymore .. wasn't my camera, I just have a small compact thingy.. It's not bad, makes rather nice close-ups, but not this kind of stuff... |

About a month ago, nice sunny weather (god, I could do with that now!) from the seawall looking at the marina
![]() But then .. grey, dull weather calls for warm coloured t-lights, which I DO like :) ![]() |
