Those who truly know me here; know I am an avid believer in prayer.

I was at work Wednesday when I get this call from my mom at her work. "Come and get me honey", "I am sick". "I had a pain across my back and I can't breathe and I am dizzy and feel sick." "I can't quit shaking, and I am freezing".I drive to her work to pick her up and she is shaking almost violenty and shivering uncontrolably, breathing very hard acting almost confused. Complaining of a headache. I begin to take her to the hospital and decide I am not comfortable doing that. I pulled over and called an ambulance to come to where we were. Ambulance and firetrucks came and helped her and sent us on to the hospital (because she wanted to go by car), which we did. She did not look good. She looked fine earlier. Except for her constant coughing. We were in the emergency room for about four hours and they admitted her. Looking at the heart first. Almost ruled that out. They are using process by elimination now. Yesterday, they took blood every 6 hours and monitored her and she began getting feverish lastnight and sweating. Today she is feverish and sweating and horrible coughing and started throwing up, They have now started taking more blood for several cultures from different sites. They decided to give her antibiotics by "IV" tonight. (I do not know if they found infection or not yet.) Anyway, while I was there awile ago they gave her 1 then said when it was gone they were going to give here another back to back. Nothing by mouth til tomorrow. They are going to do several internal scans and an "MRI" and see what they can see.

I am soooo scared. My mom is my world, Without her I will fall apart. She is so weak and sick. Just so suddenly and fierce. I spend most of my time with her there. I am getting behind in my job because I can. And will not leave her for long. So now, I am having to catch up and stay very late and go in very early. And go back to her all day long. I cannot stay away from her because I am too scared. I have been in such a hectic state of mind I almost forgot to pray my prayers for her. I have since done that and will continue. I also believe that by name is favorable.
Her name is Barbara Yuvonne, she is in Moore Medical Center. Please, please anyone....pray for my mom.
I love her so.

I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes and cannot hardly see the monitor since you guys began to respond. I have not had tears til now. I cannot let her see me do that. It could make her feel worse and I do not want to do anything to hamper her healing. My herat is fearful.

I will, thank you. I must try and get some sleep now. I will be up early and trying to acomplish the impossible. I will come back tomorrow and check in.

I have faith that positive energy and love and prayer can and will do the impossible. I must believe that, It is times as these that my weakness shows.
