I know...I know. It's 2:00 am. Well, I am just getting home from work. It has been a loooooong day to say the least.
I have to tell all you great friends out there who prayed and sent all sorts of light and loving tender mercies my moms way; that she seems better tonight, Her color is returning and she smiled (haven't seen her smile for days) and laughed. She is still not eating good. But, her coughing has lessoned and her temp broke.
After all those tests they have found one thing for sure: She has pneumonia in her right lung so bad it hid it from xrays. The cat scan found it. I have not heard anymore yet. If you had seen her yesterday, you would not believe the difference in the way she looks today. She can stand on her own and go to the restroom on her own.
Me and my sis have both given her ballons and flowers to brighten up her room. To cheer her up, hopefully.
I am so happy for the treatment she received in there that I could just pop. It was slow at first, but then the responses were great and the caring and promptness and concern they have shown my mom is astounding and to be commended. I am certain I am going to take a center piece for the nurses station on her floor. Even the attending Dr. is a wonderful woman. She speaks to her and listens and is all about finding what is wrong with her. I am still leary and worried, but it is thru all you guys and my prayers that she is returning to her wonderful, beautiful loving mom that I am so lucky to have.

Please take care of you, you are no good to Mum, your Grandbabies, or anyone, unless you take care of you, trust that your Mum is receiving good care...and do the same for you.
