My brother-in-law just called me a cougar..haha...Okay, I can laugh about it, but does anyone else really dislike that word?

it just means female contemporary to me anymore
actually it's so unfair! Why do women get a word that just means she is strong, confident, and owns her sexuality. She can choose from any legal age pool she wants. For guys...just a typical "dirty old man" disgracefully grasping at youth, checking his combover in the rear view mirror of the red spoertscar he can't afford. SO Fn unfair!

I know several woman that hate it, but they keep looking for younger guys... so it applies! Soon as I tell them, it's "off with his head!"

The word didn't exist in the 80s, but @ 19 during college, I worked in a deck specialty lumberyard. Blah blah blah.....literally "delivered wood."
The "Cougar" was a very real phenomenon although we didn't have a word for it back then. I wasn't all that slick at the time.....but worked with guys with contracts on their lives. |
