My brother-in-law just called me a cougar..haha...Okay, I can laugh about it, but does anyone else really dislike that word? Depends how you use it,if you yell COOOUGAR Ruuuun,not good,dont like it, ,but,if you whistle and use it in the same sentence,

I actually hate the word, why is it ok for an older man to date younger women but when it is the opposite we are called cougars? I have always dated younger guys and still do. I had an 8 year relationship with a guy who was 19 years younger.

I actually hate the word, why is it ok for an older man to date younger women but when it is the opposite we are called cougars? I have always dated younger guys and still do. I had an 8 year relationship with a guy who was 19 years younger. And that's what makes u a cougar! lol True story!

ok we seem to have a problem with the term cougar but when you stop to think about it it's not so bad, case in point My kids took me out for dinner and dancing for my birthday to a local bar. I was on the dance floor all night with my son, step grandson, and future son in law. My daughter pointed out as we were leaving that all the other tables were pointing at me and calling me a cougar. Which was fine with me because they don't know me and I don't care what they think. The one term I can't abide is MILF and I have been called that not knowing what it meant, but when I found out those boys were not allowed back in my home. Okay. I think a sexy older lady is called a "cougar". And, a sexy older lady with kids is called a "MILF"....

It was hurtful, derogatory, and meant to insult. I deserved what I got. It doesn't bother ME. It's just a word, baby. Like...cougar.... Younger but i do have a younger friend. Just a phone call away if i wanted too.
