How do you men avoid women who's only interest is their own security?
I've dated a couple women who would only show affection after I have done something substantial for them. The first one lasted six years. Was really relieved to get out of that drama. Now that I'm old, gray and had my day, I can spot them and drop 'em like a hot rock. Women. Any advice? |

Same way you spot a man that uses women.... You don't know till you see it happening or have had it happen...
Always by their actions of what they do or say.... It happens at times when one is only looking for pretty packages they must have a way to maintain that package. And if the man/woman is willing to help maintain them that is up to them.... Besides everyone wants a little security some just more then others... Can't really dish them for what they want... One only has to walk away if they do not want them... |

not all ways that easy , love blinds a person it's not like they carry a sign saying i am just here for the gifts would be nice if they had a true intentions sign : ) True but i know you can feel it if it's too much, right? It's up to that person if he still keeps himself blind with what's really going on And i do agree with txsgal, it's best to talk things thoroughly and if you don't like where it's heading then just walk away..

I know it sounds cliche and standard
 ...but seriously respect and seek out people (all friends) who enjoy simple things.
If she/he is fidgety and bored on a picnic, the dance at a lively club will never be as good. Platitude and trite.......but true! |

I ask them if they are from america. if yes, then i know. . lol/ kinda true. Most women my age that are single are so for a good reason, that being the number one reason. there are also the drunks, the ones with five kids by six different fathers, and of coursee the druggies.
Actually i ask them if they want to go clubbin, my treat. or to the bar. If they say yes, i fold. |

That's a big red flag right there. There are almost always warning signs, that little nagging feeling that things are just not right. If things feel too good to be true, they most likely are. If something just doesn't jive, it probably doesn't. If you feel like you're being used, you probably are. Folks just need to slow down, take breath, not get carried away with emotions...or lust... and listen to what their hearts and heads are trying to tell them. |
