well for me!.. first off this may come as a big surprise.. but in my real life.
my offline life... I am very professional.. and I find I need to act accordingly.. I still am me I joke around when appropriate.. but not to the extent that I do on here...!... for me being an adult represents.. standing behind your word.. providing for your family.. even when you do not feel.. up to the task some days.. those days you just want to stay in bed. it means being there for your children.. teacher conferences.. booking them into Taekwondo lessons... being an adult means.. always moving forward putting one foot in front of the other... no matter what obstacles are in your way.... .. sometimes I look at myself in the mirror.... and think you're not an adult.. just yesterday you were playing in the sandbox...lol. .. it is your actions that define you.! |

Taking care of ALL my responsibilities.
Not making excuses for my failings. Looking after others that need help...not the other way around. Not thinking the world owes me anything. If something is wrong...no p!ssing...identify the problem and do whatever possible to rectify it. Make sure there is never an empty spool of toilet paper. I could go on and on and on. |

Take care of responsibilities. Work don't make excesses just fix it or admit when you can't don't be petty don't be "messy" admit your not perfect and still have lots to learn and improve.

I don't wanna grow up....I'm a Toys R' Us kid.... I couldn't resist. I thought the same response when I saw the topic. I'm not a grown up yet, I'm still maturing and learning. |

What does being a "grown-up" mean to you? Wisening up. Getting your act together. Being honourable. Getting your life sorted out. |

everyone can use help during their lifetime but growing up is understanding that no one owes you help and not causing another to need help that no one owes them |

Being responsible enough to take the consequences of our actions. The older the wiser we become and our experience are always the best teacher.

Part all the responsibility stuff is when you become (at least partially) responsible for the happiness of those you care about.....and realize you are completely in control of your own.
Part of ^^^"that"^^^ is maintaining that youthful spark. |
