You ever talk to someone who "doesn't know why they're single" and yet as you're chatting with them they give you several reasons why they are, but you can't say it bluntly cuz it's rude? Yeah...

I'm sure it's not great, but I might give them some friendly advice to point them in a direction that might help them.

Well, I guess most commonly cos you broke up with your ex, lol.

The reason I am STILL single is cos I haven't been single all that long and I took my time to find my feet again, which I think is crucial after breaking up.
Personally I feel one should take at least a year to recuperate and find one's feet again. I've been on my own for 18 months now.

And nr 2 for STILL begin single is that I haven't met the right guy yet. And as I'm happy as it is, I'm don't feel like rushing into a relationship. I'm not in any kind of hurry.

I always find this question "how long have you been single" very awkward. As if there's a right and wrong?
Think there's a lot of judgment concerning the duration of being single. Most probably feel that when you've been single for a longer period of time, there's got to be something wrong with you.

I often get the question "why is a good-looking woman like you still single?"


As if good-looking ppl can't be single? And as if good-looking ppl can't take time to find their feet again?

Nope for I feel being single is not a bad thing.... Some of us actually enjoy being single...And it is not me to judge why, we all have flaws just different ones....

Most that I hear whining about being single are not even happy with themselves and just need to find that happy point first.. And let things fall into place within time...

Because I spent most of my life pleasing someone else, now its time to please myself.



Sure... most people that are too self absorbed to figure out why they're alone if they don't want to be will automatically defend themselves against anything they perceive to be negatively aimed at their behavior or way of thinking. So what's the point in trying to help?

At least they're honesty makes it easier to see why they aren't meant for me either.

My answer is simple... choice.

I'm happy, content, and finally getting my 'life force' back.
Don't need another 'she-devil'.

Because I want to be. Haven't found a guy who just wants to take it slowly again yet. Don't be fooled by the rich family I got, I'm still good old Sarah from da block. And always will be. They just can't handle my swag, yo! ;)

i am single cuz i dont want choos person can crap my life so i think is need time to find right person . evry one how they think abt this. for me no ruch to be happy at end not crap life :D

I initially chose it because it was safer than the relationship I was hanging onto,,,,

now I choose it because it has just been emotionally easier to try to sort out all my own obstacles and troubles and stay in an uplifted mood,, than it would be to add someone elses to the equation alongside,,,,

and because I am so conscious of being an influence on my daughter that I have become PICKIER about the standards and values I want her exposed to ,,,,


but, I will choose not to be single when Im where I want to be with other things in my life,,,

Nothing wrong with being single at all, but people in relationships don't equate the mood of them being single. Things change when you're in relationship.

I was talking about the ones who whine about finding it so much but don't see what the real problem is.
