Do you think a man's financial status is dependent on whether he is ready to love someone completely?

make what you will of this, but.........i'd much rather be a young poor man in love, than a lonely old rich man, who has let time pass him by, while he chased after the dollar..

It seems to me, if a guy spends every dime of his paycheck
(and often more) every month, he is not really ready
to settle down.

I suppose that could change, overnight, were he to meet
the 'one.'

But saving $$ seems a mark of maturity and that inevitable
rainy day.

Seems to me more like a man has to be financially stable, for the woman to even consider going out with him on a date.noway At least in my neck of the woods.

Why must it be the man who is financially stable? Whatever happened to gender equality?

I don't see finances and love having much in common

a poor man can be just as ready to love as a rich man

its just a matter of how they prioritize love/their relationships

I don't understand the question. I think a man's financial status is dependent on how much money he makes. He may try to make more money if he is planning on marrying and having children. But, love and money don't have much to do with each other.
