My last relationship was with a girl who was 17 years younger than me, and it lasted over 5 and a half years.

well im a 47year old male and i believe as long as their mature enough and legal but i really dont see anyone real young looking for someone my age besides i think i would wonder if she wanted someone closer to her age and i think it might effect our relationship down the line or that peer pressure or her family may cause her problems after all i am an old fart and not everyone is open to that type of relationship. her family may just look at me as an old pervert but i guess you never know.it would depend alot on the circumstances

I don't intentionally date younger guys, they seem to come after me, no idea why! Do I prefer younger guy? I guess I have grown to, since we have alot in common- wierd but true. I can't seem to connect with older men, they have a different outlook on life. As far as finding the older/younger, I try not to look for either one!

Have dated guy 10 years younger than me. but in general tend to stick to my own age or older recently went out with guy 15 years older than me, end of day its only a number.

I used to think that age was not an accurate representation of a person maturity. This is still true but experience is what really matters. I just got out of a relationship with a woman that was 21, I'm 34. I have dated many women younger than myself. I think that age does not matter but it is hard to find a high level of maturity in younger people, due to their lack of experience. It's not that it is impossible to find but it is hard to find. I am currently looking for someone around the same age as me or older. I just want someone with maturity and experience.

age never meant anything to me. i actually prefer older women over someone younger than me. i dated a 36 year old right out of high school when i was 18. we were together for almost a year,and we were very happy. as long as the connections there, go for it.

The only thing that can be frightening about age gaps is a thought in long term relationships- knowing that somebody 20 years older than you has 20 years less to live than you, can be saddening and weaken a relationship. (theoretically, of course, this statement is based on statistics)

All-in-all, I really think if people are like minded enough and love each other, it really doesn't matter. But it is very situational

I have dated one that was 13 years younger. That is about as far as my range is going to go. I have had twenty year olds ask me out, which is flattering, but I have a twenty year old son and I would rather them be closer to my age than his!!
