As ususal this depends on the individuals involved. My Mom's husband is 12 years younger than her and that works for them. Finally found a guy that could keep up with her. Seriously, you don't know my Mom, WOW!! My ex is 10 years younger than me, but we didn't split because of the age difference.

If I found the right person, age wouldn't matter. I would be surprised though if she was younger than 40 or over 60.


Oh yeah...I'm thinking 44...nice even number...two 4's..... looks nice....... of course when she turns 45......well, it's over then isn't it. Going to be tough finding a continous string of 44 year olds willing to go out with me...but I figure it's worth it.. (JOKE)

I would agree within ten years either way would work for me. I have had thirty year old guys try to connect with me saying age is only a number. That may be true but what would we have in common and since I'm in it for a relationship where would we be in ten years? Something to consider for sure.

Yes, I think that age can effect your partner.

I will date a lot younger but not much older. I suppose that they are mature enough at twenty . To a certain extent it is just a number and I can get on with middle aged women that haven't become too set in their ways. My ex was older than me but she was very active and still liked to party. She just had to settle down a bit to bring up her daughter but she did find that a bit frustrating and didn't much like being tied down in one place.

For me a younger guy is a NO NO!i cant even chat with them online let alone see myself going out on a date. This is one of those things which i wont and cant do bt if anyone is happy dating a younger guy GOOD for U.

much like being bald or overweight along with race, distance, religion, having children, being employed, mental illness, size(for guys), physical deformities or handicaps...ect. all of these things matter. it's left up to the individual to determine the extent.
