I dated a man who was 12 years younger than I am. He kept saying it didn't matter to him and that his brother was married to a woman that was 14 years older than he was. Things didn't work out for us but it had nothing to do with the age differance. Honestly though I doubt now, since I'm looking for a LTR, I would date someone who is more than 10 years younger than I am.

I have a guy friend I met online a few months ago....we have a lot of things in common and hang out fishing, going out to eat, etc. He's new to the area so I'm introducing him to some of the fun stuff to do here. I made it perfectly clear there would never be anything more than friendship, he's a nice guy but there is no physical attraction for me. He does try to put the move on me when he's had too much to drink.....so being just friends with him can be a bit trying at times

WOW! that sounds wonderful. I think that would be a really good first meet. a good time frame to meet, better than dragging things out. On another note I find it incredibly frustrating when there seems to be effort from a new person for the first few days then very little. showing time is a great quality. hope your date goes well! It went very well thank you. I enjoyed meeting him and the icecream was yummy too. Planning another date this coming weekend. Yes, I don't want to wait too long after a contact is made....pointless to waste each others time for sure.
