Hi JSH... I need your prayers... this morning I was woken by a phone call from my aunt...

My cousin CJ who is 17 and a Senior in High School plays football, wrestles, and runs track for his high school was at football practice last night... they were getting ready for their game tonight...

he was throwen a pass and went to catch it.. I guess from what my aunt tells me the pass was throwen a little short so he reached back to catch it and he cleat got caught... I'm not sure if he fell or what exactly happend next but he was injured.. one of the coaches took him to urgent care and they did x-rays he broke 2 or 3 bones (from the way my aunt explained it) in his ankle and is done playing football for the season... she said that the doctor told the coach that he will need surgery to repair it... he is going to a specialest today to find out more....

when he got home last night the other coach called to inform him that he has been made hororary captian of the team... what makes this all the harder is that CJ did not know until the coach called last night but he had scouts from division 2 colleges coming to the games that were intrested in him. Luckly the coaches have video of the games....

I have had 2 knee surgeries, so I can relate to what hes going through!! My prayers are with him, they can do wonders now with surgery!!!

Thanks everyone... I have had knee surgery so I know how hard it is but to take away the one thing someone love is hard and the whole college scout thing is even harder... i will keep everyone posted...
