ay ay ay!!! imma new yorker! and i've lived here since i was 6yrs old. now i can honestly say that women in NYC are very stuck-up! but woman isnt...especially if she's always being told she's beautiful or hot or sexy. either way? i still love my new york women...i jst think that women outside NYC are easier to pick up because women in nyc play hard to get..so a man's game plan on picking a women starts to become better...so that way if a new york guy leaves nyc and tries to pick up a chick..its alot easier..trust me i travel ALOT!!! and when im with the fellas....its alot easier to puick up outa-state babes

NY women aren't rude per say. We just know what we want. And half the time those people that we ignore are 40 year old men with no job living in their mothers basement. If 40 year old men didn't contact 19 year old girls then more messages would be responded too. If people actually posted pictures of themselves they'd get responses. Im from NY and I talked to a man in a wheel chair today so its not about looks, or locations, its about the person inside. And grown men contacting little girls, or grown men with no job deserve none of my time.

Well, I definitely don't think it's that NY women are rude, at all. But NY women do tend to be selective, and you have no picture, it seems.

Maybe if you put one on you'd get more responses?

it's not just women who are rude, it is men too. i have emailed a couple of different people to say hi or whatever and get to know them and they can't even respond to say thanks but no thanks. i did notice that with the picture too. i don't have one right now and it seems that may be part of the problem. i don't know. i just want to make some friends and expand my horizons. but if someone doesn't want to write back their loss not ours!!

I do have a 18 yr old daughter and i do have my limits, But I have had some girls in there early 20's hit on me.
I told them I wasnt comfortable with someone in there early 20's, But I answered them in a decent matter.

It all depends on how you carry yourself, visually and verbally. I tend to be aggressive, put my arm around a woman I don't know, etc. If you speak to an NYC woman with any waver in your voice (or lack of conviction) then they will eat you alive.

I've been in NYC all my life and women just become targets to get picked up, and are tired of it. A few friends stated that men try the whole nice guy routine and are revealed to be jerks. They also stated that when they announce celibacy , as a test, men quickly disperse.

But I'm not only defending them. Some are known to be jackasses at times. They dress a certain way, begging "to be put on a kitchen table", but are completely cold to advances. I very much dislike that kind of tease, and is just the "game" they said they didn't play... Quite contradictory.

Like, Just the other day, Halloween, I met a group of nine scantly clad women who easily let me join the group on the way to the parade. Crazy thing, all tourists. None from NYC.

The thing, I'm neutral towards NY women.

And hey, not to be offensive, but maybe it was your fault for the non response. Just saying.
