Topic: NY women are rude | |

IDK what the jeck most of you are talking about because you all are pressing on NY guys and gals. It's just that everyone is to damn selective and they don't want to respond back. And I think if you are not interested in talking to someone anymore all you have to do is just say something about how you feel. It feels worse when you don't respond and just read.

dam dhimit...a point well proved as well..i've come to notice that it takes a new yorker to understand/know a new yorker...not surprising...if u havent lived the NYC life...then NYC people will seem very...."wierd" or "strange"...and btw? there is no such thing as a NEW YORKER accent...off topic i know but eh figured id point it out lolz

Yeah my grandfather in cali says I have a NY accent and everyone has the same accent as me. What the heck am I missing?? lol
But its not just ny women or men. It seems most people are very picky. |

lmao...ya..almost every new yorker gets that sometime or another...hehehe.
but that is true..i mean we dnt notice it..but almost 89% of people in the united states are picky about their partners. |

Someone mentioned a no pic thing. I don't have a pic yet and still get replies.
About the picky thing, EVERYONE should be picky. I mean, why force yourself to be with someone "OK" for you, when you can find someone "perfect" for you. Just saying. L8R. |

I wouldnt respond either. Some people like myself are only looking for others who are in the same area as me. there is the point, spoken as a true New Yorker. Ever think of reponding and saying just looking for people in my area I am born and raised in NYC for 49yrs and people in NYC (MANHATTAN) are snobby in the streets because there are alot of panhandlers and cons in the streets and if you give them any sense of being. They will bother you to get anything from you. Then there are people who are on a mission of going to one place to another (ex. To and from work) and thats all they want to do. So depending on the situation people can give you the snobby look. No accent in NYC. Try going to bensonhurst or greenpoint or williamsburg. 4gettaboutitt you gotta be kidding me I am pinned no matter what state I go to, if I speak to a ex-tristate area person, the ask what part of the city I am from |

hmm...ok as far as an accent goes, mine is all mixed up!
I was raised in middle Georgia and now live in upstate NY so I've got that whole southern/yankee thing goin' on. Damn yall for changing my accent! It was fine just the way it was! Oh, and I'm a sweetheart too , even though I live in NY, I wasn't raised here so the "being rude" to people is all new to me. I even had to go to the DMV to get the booklet that teaches ya when to do the finger wave while you're in traffic, and all kinda other rude things you can do to people while in traffic. Ahhh... to be a southern woman again.... I can only hope. |

New York drivers can NOT drive. ok well they drive way too slow.. if I had a nickel for every slow driver with NY plates I've been stuck behind, cut off and/or flipped off I'd be a millionaire. rt 80s speed limit is 65- in the slow lane, not the fast lane. geez. lol.

Really, I understand the cutting off part, and the bird flipping, but slow? Every out of state plate I see is a slow driver. I guess it's an unfamiliar road, and they think driving slow should be safe...
WRONG! I got into 2 accidents because of either a slow driver, or a bad stopper. Since I hit them from behind, it is "my fault" (stupid fine print), and I'm held liable. Unless you are a racer, and even then, most people can't drive, especially out-of-state-rs. L8R. |
