Its probably how your approaching them. Do you use nudges? Do you say things like I want to marry you or ask to chat off mingle in first messages? In other words are you too forward or eager? The best thing you can do is really read a woman's profile. Then message her saying hello and maybe ask her some things you learned from her profile. Sometimes guys message me and come across to eager and it makes me uncomfortable and suspisious. Just take your time stay here on mingle and chat til she is comfortable. Not everyone is looking for a long distance relationship, so if you are contacting members outside your own country, you are probably less likely to find someone. You may do better if you contact more ladies living in your own country, but it does take time to find some one, good luck in your search.

I agree about trying to date within your own country, you're sure to have better luck. Even if you were from another country, other than Nigeria, and weren't black, many women aren't willing to go thousands of miles just to get a man, when they can get one in their own area. And I've told the OP this repeatedly on several other threads, maybe someone else saying it will mean something..I hope.

Have you considered how expensive it may be to get flights? I may live in the UK, but we're not necessarily rich. Well not these days. Our government try to make us as poor as they can, because they can. They take people's jobs away from them. How many can truly afford to get a plane every weekend or so? I wouldn't date anyone outside of the UK for a NUMBER of reasons. And to me, it isn't very practical. I can't imagine having children and having those children ask why their dad is always so far away. I'd want their dad to be near them as much as possible. I'd want him to have a proper bond with the child, as it grows. I think I could manage moving to a different continent of the UK though.

Dude, start with someone close to where you live. You cant expect to message women from another country and them to be all up on you. Thats ridiculous!

stop using your race as the excuse for all the things you can't accomplish.
take an honest look at yourself and learn from your mistakes, in time you will understand that it's YOU who causes your own successes not the color of your skin. We have a black president for gods sake!
