My profile is blank of any personal info because I don't want anyone contacting me. So that's what I think when I see an empty profile, they don't want to be bothered, so I oblige.

To answer your question though, I rarely give them the benefit of the doubt if they don't fill out their profiles. If they aren't even prepared to say if they are married or not I'm not going there. I'm not going to America either. Are you really getting so desperate that you're prepared to do that, or even reply to them, or are you just doing it out of boredom?

Tawtstrat, blank profiles from other countries is about all I can get. I think I should quit. I gave this dating site thing a go and I've failed. This place isn't exactly teeming with hot babes though.

It's slow on here and there's no denying that. I've been on here for a year and met three women so far. I couldn't find anybody from Edinburgh that was interested when I came on here but I did eventually get one from Glasgow to talk to me. All I got from her for two months or something was chat and she just wouldn't make a date. Then when I had given up on her as a dead loss she just decided on a whim to jump in a taxi and it was intimate encounter time.

I pretty much just come on here for the forums and to message friends on here. I haven't been seriously looking for dates since I finished with that one from Glasgow but I got lucky in the summer when a local girl that was into older guys gave me the wink. She wasn't even into emailing and she just asked me out. She was a f**king nympho mate.

I'm an unconventional sort of guy like you are. I've got no chance with the picky types that want the moon on a stick. They won't even talk to me. I know what sort of women I attract. Thrill seekers that are impulsive and a bit mental. They are maybe no good for a serious relationship but they come on here to meet guys and they don't just want to chat. I sometimes say that they would have to be a bit mental to meet a man from the internet. That's been my experience with it. You can spend hours every day on here searching profiles and messaging and you get nowhere until some random nutter that's up for it just comes along.

If they message me I'll chat with them and get to know them. But if I see a blank profile I won't send her a message, what would I even say? There isn't an opening to start a decent conversation with.

Even the ones who post a photo, 30% of the time it is not real. I may as well give in and start dating the gorillas. The only problem with that is, even the gorillas don't want to date me. They just want my real email add and my credit card info.
