Oxytocin is a chemical released into the brain when a mother first holds her child after it is born and causes a really strong bond. But really it's a trick. It's what her body does to keep her from eating her kids when she gets really hungry.

This joke was brought to you thanks to Joe Rogan who got it from his sister. lol

 Rogan...Lol Joe Rogan on how to get your gf fingerd?
Put her on your shoulders at a concert. .he say "true"
Well tell me something I don't know joe.shades

Yes chemicals, Like hormones. The body produces various chemicals like DMT, norepinephrine, adrenaline, and various others that cause you to feel the things you feel. They cause electrical impulses in the brain to fire across neurons that tell your body to make certain movements. The body is a complex thing.

Then theres the chemicals that have nothing to do with love, They only exist in the honeymoon stage and ease off as time goes by.

Have you ever noticed that when you are in this stage, everything is clearer, brighter and nothing matters anymore but how you are feeling?

People can get addicted to this euphoric high, which is probably why alot of relationships don't last past this stage. So when they come down off the high and see the real person and all their faults, they quit and move on looking for that drug again .

I didn't know the ones that were responsible for the feelings of love. So I just named a few random ones. and gave examples of what the bodies chemicals do. I was mostly thinking of the movie Love potion number 9. I think that's the one anyway. lol

When it comes to love, in love, infatuation blablabla, a lot, if not all, has to do with projection, not hormones. If you read about that, you start to wonder if we ever even love a person for who he/she really is or if we never get beyond loving who we think or want him/her to be?
Kinda concerning and mind boggling ...

Maybe the best match would be the person who is in actual fact as close to your projection as is humanly possible?

Learning this not that long ago, it sure has answered
Questions that i have had about what I refer to as "surface Love"
I honestly have found in my experience that woman get a lot more confused
in this stage and think they are madly in love. Candi reads alot, she
gets all her knowledge from my posts exept when she says stupid stuff
I don't know where that comes from, cause I dont say stupit stuffwhoa
Just funnin' ya Calgarywaving
They say that is why people seek out sex, its certainly not going to
release to the extent if one was in a infatuation stage.
but Dopamine in everything good and everything bad Its not love but
it sure does have to do with love and lust and adiction and walking
and talking and everything its like fuel of the brain all these are
neurotransmitters that fill in the space between the neurons.
there is lots of different types of receptors 5 for Dopamine and 11 or more of Serotonin.
its how we are designed as the Brain would literally fry if the levels
wouldn't subside. Its not a full on in an infatuation stage for a month
or two; it has to ebb and flow.
Gambeling is 'our' adiction to our own dopamine release.
Adiction triggers are a release of dopamine when you associate yourself
with the habit. Your brain releases like its getting a reward and
when it doesn't get it, that brings on disappointment as the dopamine
is cut back.
I guess we are all a bit different but in the infatuation stage and living together I want to slep a lot more, its the best sleep I can have.
The lack of sleeping for me would be break up time...next week..

I admit I've done that, not really seen guys for who they are, but for who I want them to be. Sort of sick and sad at the same time. I need to work on that. Thank you for pointing that out.flowerforyou

.

Yes Jamie, you are rightlove ....The free fall is usually short lived and when you hit the ground, you hit hard...Sometimes hard enough to become constipated..Haha....You are also right about chemical release and amplification...Along with dopamine, other "love chemicals" include phenylethylamine, norepinephrine, oxytocin, testosterone, and of course, endorphins...A delicious cocktail that can make your heart race, you palms sweat, and your panties wet simply by looking at the person you love....Once this "stage" of falling in love is complete, a couple either grows to the next and the next and the next stage or they grow apart as life and all its challenges happen....The only thing I don't agree with in your beautiful postsmitten is placing a time limit on love's growth...For me, it is more like a plant that never stops growing.

 Good analogy and  yes its not the fall its the sudden stop at the bottom that drastically changes the dynamics
It is a good analogy because the second stage of the five stages of
intamatcy is called the landing stage or Pony calls it the stage were
her head splits open and the lizard pops out zzzzZZZZZ.surprised
Its actually bin referred to as "the day you woke up" OK its all starting
To make sense now. Thats the day she starts saying "you've changed"
ok in a month I've changedwhat OR she says its time to go back to
work. Then I'm like "ok b_tch your fired. I remender last relationship
a few years back I was seeing her for just over a year and a half casually when I was in town then she wanted more the last few times we'd
Met on days off, like I'm talking crying and using the L work.
I thought we would give it a try since I had a few months off work. Well that was all great but at the end of the infatuation stage she was not saying the L word anymore and said its probably time to get back to work,
Which was true. We were having some beer and I found a big American bullfrog in the back yard She likes to smoke a little bit of weed at night sometimes so this very rare time I joined her & bullfrog and
we all got stoned. Then we made him a nice home in the bath tub with an island and lots of grass and then I went outside and grabbed a handfulls of Lawn clippings.whoa Eventually I pulled the shower certain
and laid in bed together and thats when we both looked at each other
different, like what am I doing with this person, simaltaniusly.
So we had awkward sex anyways. That is when I realized in the morning
I would release the bullfrog and her back into the forest.

The landing stage: or "the day you woke up"
So we go to jump in the shower and pull back the certain surprised
WTFslaphead the bath was full of glass and this big bullfrog.
"NO NO NO NO I don't smoke it no more..I'm tierd of waking up with a bullfrog & a whore:laughing:

Everybody gets drunk with pitbulls, & stoned with bullfrogs don't they..
don't they.
Where men are men.. and sheep are nervous....Pitbulls are drunk,
Bullfrogs are high, and pansy..well that's still just the name of a LIIIIttle flower.

I think we truely do love them for who they are just like how we love family members. We are naturally loving beings who are capable of seeing/feeling that inner soul which is pure love.

If you want to get down to the nutty gritty..life itself is a projection of what you desire..see..feel and don't want.
