If money wasn't an issue and you are offered a plane ticket to anywhere in the world right now...where would you choose?

I would like to try it with its original recipe which I am sure is a lot more potent than what we get over here. As my brother put it the beer over here is like soda pop in comparison. I don't mind warm beer either. laugh

Lowenbrau in Germany is why I do not like beer here in the USA. It is too hard to go backwards!

@Crystal, hippie & lion

Ima Beck's girl from the north m'self. It's made in Bremen near where I lived wenn war Ich eine Deutscherin sein

No, I have not yet had Lhasa Beer. I am curious about it because I have heard that the quality of the water where it's made influences the taste quite nicely.

BTW, never saw Lowenbrau the entire time I was in Germany...but I was in the north

also enjoyed Haacke-becks (the less expensive version of Becks) and Carlsberg Pilsner (in the airport in Malmo Sweden. I didn't notice it sold in Germany where I was). Carlsberg is a major investor in Lhasa Beer.

here at home I drink mostly Canadian and German, Becks Molsons, St Pauli's. Sometimes Heineken's. Recently I have introduced myself to a very fine local micro called Columbus Pale Ale. It's become a favorite.

I tried the Leinenkuegel's this Winter Ale and it was not bad...like the Sam Adam's Winter lager (?) betterwaving

Have fun in europe. you will have to keep us posted during your travels :)
