Once I know "for real" that the person is real and they are OK with texting/calling outside of this interface. Some are, some aren't.

yes I agree. I have seen that. Unfortunately I cant block numbers so I don't take the chance. I also check to make sure they are not scammers before moving on to the next step of going into another chat location.

No. I don't give out phone numbers. I don't give out email addresses, I don't go to Google Hangouts and Machete' don't text. I've only had 1 civil conversation here that lasted longer than a couple of back-and-forths before the other side insisted on taking the "conversation" off-site. Until I'm sure that the other person is whom they say they are, and we have something in common besides Tab A fits into Slot B, that is where it will stay.
