Yea, I saw on the news today. Two winners. I actually like to see more than one winner, or more than one groups of winners. Money like that should be spread around. I have such a large family and group of friends, I could spread it around quite a bit. Plus set up for the next few generations. Oh well. I'll take my dollar and run There's a fundraiser tonight so my buck will be used on a raffle ticket. The odds are better and I just might win that basket of goodies

Life.. never a dull moment huh

I've spent the past 5 years single by choice.. and although I've talked to some guys.. nothing ever came of anything cuz we just didn't click.. well.. 8 weeks ago I 'met' someone, on another online site, local.. pretty cool I thought cuz it seemed we were twins separated at birth.. even though there was a few years difference in actual birth dates.. but that could've been a lie too

anywho.. he said something about 1&1/2-2 weeks in that shot up a red flag.. but being who I am.. it didn't stop me from moving forward and making plans on meeting in person, I'm a "lets see what happens next" kinda gal with eyes wide open.. WEEEEEEEEElllllllll.. over the weeks some things started to conflict in his stories & excuses.. by week 4 he started asking odd questions just one here or there(of which I gave only partial 'truths').. but enough to send up another lil red flag or two for me.. so.. biding my time.. I continued to play his game, however.. every time we were to meet.. he came up with an excuse as to why he COULDN'T that day.. and the game continued..

5 weeks in.. and STILL trying to blow smoke up my azz with tall tales and lots of excuses and reasons for our delayed meeting when WHAMMO.. all my email accounts get hacked!!! luckily for me.. I'm not one that holds IMPORTANT account data anywhere online.. no credit card info, no banking info.. NADA.. PHEW..

but what he didn't think would happen, DID.. thinking me either stupid, gullible, naive OR too embarrassed to admit.. I contacted the QPP(Quebec Provincial Police) who took a full report and ALSO urged me towards our RCMP's Anti-Fraud Center.. I've since handed over all the 'info' he gave me (including telephone numbers, personal data, photos etc) to both law enforcement agencies and they've in turn, opened a full blown investigation..

originally I had thought "this guy is a dream come true.. or TOO good to be true".. and I'm glad I didn't let my guard down.. if I had... he could have emptied all my bank accounts in a few short weeks..

lesson here folks?? don't keep ANYthing important online, listen to your gut (if it's a good gauge) and most of all.. if it sounds too good to be true? it probably ISN'T!!
