I'm guessing insecure ppl will regard porn to be cheating.
To me it depends on the why, how and how often it happens.

Had a friend, married, 1 kid. Whenever she went out with the kid, he'd watch porn. So she couldn't even come home normally, because then the little boy would see his dad helping himself whilst watching porn. So she had to knock on the window, wait for him to pack it up and then go in.
Totally ridiculous.

I wouldn't say it's cheating. But I would advise against it since it may cause negative feelings similar to cheating in your spouse. Women generally really don't like it for obvious reasons.

What if our value system is wrong? Don't forget it's the child of a couple thousands of years (at least) of patriarchal domination and religion.
Views, beliefs, thoughts, value systems etc shouldn't be stagnant. Stagnation = no more growth & development.
If we were meant to live stagnant lives, we wouldn't have been endowed with a brain and the ability to adept and evolve, and the ability to create language.
We'd still live like cavemen, not have the ability to make fire, wouldn't have invented the wheel and definitely wouldn't have our comfy chairs and computers so we could talk to ppl on Mingle.

I don't believe there can be emotional attachment to a character on a screen,, so to me its not cheating

I don't know that I would consider it cheating. It may cause issues in the relationship though. I used to get upset with my now ex husband for watching porn. He quit watching it alone and we watched it together, spiced things up a bit. But when one partner is obsessive about it and it starts to effect healthy sexual relations with their partner then yes it is. Aside from the obsessive intrusion, is anything aside from ones partner that causes arousal considered cheating? Romance novels?
