Actually, Mr. wrestling #1(Tim Woods)was the original.

Since he couldn't be everywhere at once, promoters got the idea for a "Mr. Wrestling #2". They found a journeyman wrestler named Johnny "Rubberman" Walker to put under the mask. The two teamed up and feuded for quite a while. woods cut back on his wrestling, and Walker, as #2, rose to prominence in Georgia.

Walker and Woods actually became very good friends, travelling together to conventions, right up till Woods' death a few years ago.

Masked men? What about the Masked Assassins?

Zybsco was in the group, here is the answer :

The Old Age Outlaws were formed in January 2000 in WCW by four retired wrestlers, hence the name. They were Terry Funk, who was named WCW Commissioner, Arn Anderson, his enforcer, Larry Zbysko and Paul Orndorff. They were there to keep the current nWo faction of Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Bret Hart and Scott Steiner in line but they never wrestled them due to the fact that they were retired.
