That "Superbowl of Wrestling" show in 1995 was the last live show I attended. I watched a lot during the "Monday Night Wars" in the late 90s. I'd set my VCR to tape RAW at 9:00, then tape the replay of Nitro at midnight. I think WCW going out of business was bad for wrestling and the wrestlers themselves. Since WWE botched the Invasion storyline so badly, I started to lose interest in watching. I haven't watched a PPV since Wrestlemania 20, and watch one episode of RAW about every six months. I read about wrestling now FAR more than I watch it. TNA's become a low-rent WWE. I've seen some of the Ring of Honor stuff on YouTube, and it's all right. Maybe I'll buy a DVD or two of their stuff.

Here's a question:
What do these WWF(E) wrestlers have in common? "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan "I.R.S." Mike Rotondo "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka "Earthquake" John Tenta "The Model" Rick Martel Two clues: 1-Answer has NOTHING to do with nicknames or wrestling attire. 2-The answer is NOT that they're all retired. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!! |
Weren't they / are they all road agents of WWE... well except for Tenta who I believe is dead.
they all also wrestled for wcw at one time or another
No to Josh.
They all did wrestle for WCW at one time(who didn't, Sportsnut ), but that's not the common thread I'm looking for here. Hey, Josh, I couldn't help but notice your new pic bears a strong facial resemblance to Jim Cornette, one of the 2 greatest managers of all time--the other being Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. |
i give. what do they have in common. maybe they all have sons that are wrestlers
Sorry, Sportsnut, that isn't it, either. I'm going to bed in a few, gotta work in the morning. If no one gets it by tomorrow, I'll give the answer then.

Here's the answer:
All the WWF(E)wrestlers I mentioned NEVER won a singles title in WWF(E). DiBiase, Martel, Tenta, and Rotodo all were part of Tag-Team champs, but no singles titles. Amazing that Snuka and Duggan never held ANY title there. |
Oh, and by the way, Ted DiBiase's "Million dollar belt" was not a recognized WWF(E) title.
that was a good one
here's one. who financially backed smoky mountain wrestling when jim coronette formed it in 1991
That would be record producer Rick Rubin. Wan't he over Death Row Records?

I think |

Questionsssssss:
What is the real name of Hulk Hogan? Who was his first trainer? And who introduced him to his first trainer? |
Hogan's real name: Terry Jean Boella
First trainer: Hiro Matsuda He was introduced to Matsuda by either Eddie Graham or Jack Brisco. |
I give you 1 and 2
Terrence Gene Bollea Hiro Matsuda and it was Mike Graham who introduced him. |
Hi Invisible ,
Don't I get a half-point, because Mike Graham is Eddie's son? Oh well, can't blame a guy for trying . Here's one: What do these three wrestlers have in common: Brian Lee Roy Lee Welch Jimmy Golden |
Well, I gave you a full point for Hogan's name, even though it was terribly misspelled.
