really? so if the "word of god" is truth, why was science shut down for thousands of years? would you care to guess how many scientists where killed by the church, because the scientific truth was different from "gods truth"? nothing wrong with believing in god, if thats what you want, but maybe try some science books along with the bible every once in a while... just reading the bible your whole life doesn't expand your mind..

I saw and have heard many preachers who say the KJV is what is authentic. They lie through their teeth.

This is one reason the NKJV came about. Easter was never in the bible it was translated in the KJV from Pasha where 28 other times it is translated as Passover. They know this and any preacher who says that Easter is biblical is a LIAR.

Who gave the people rest? You have to know the Torah and practice it or you know nothing.. Yahweh will come down on you for refusing his word to those who believe while he has mercy on those who do not believe but practice the Law of Right and Wrong.

Being persecuted does not mean you are Yahweh's. Sure they must of had great belief and back then they probably very well may of had no knowledge of the Original scriptures. Science changes from 500 years ago. Knowledge Yahweh spoke about. Science is part of it because all good comes from Yahweh. The knowledge explosion that started with Tesla. If not for Tesla we may be no where near where we are today. He pictured these things in his mind and then built them. That's Yahweh giving him Knowledge. Whether he is Just or unjust I do not know but Yahweh used him That I do Believe at least.

The religious wars are from Zealots. The Waldesians from the 1200's were slaughtered because they believed in Yahshua and the Torah so 800k were killed without them fighting back.. some fled but they refused Romes edicts. That's why their was so many wars.

If He has made us in His image, then we are part of His design. That includes inquisitiveness and the ability to question things, not to believe things as they are or risk not getting past the pearly gates for not believing a book?

I think the only believeable part is the 'let there be light' - this may correspond with the big bang, but the rest - no, not for me.

Still, this is just me. Religion is a good thing for people who can give themselves up to believing it. It gives people hope, and thats a great. I personaly believe there is a reason everything exists, and if there is a creator its not the 'almighty smiter' from the Bible.

science doesn't disagree with the scriptures because there is nothing to prove them true or false...lots of scientists tried to prove them one way or another, but there is not much evidence either way...

I think the original scriptures were meant to be a guideline for people, and probably was a sound one at that. Mind you, I'm talking about original scriptures, not the bible, which to me is a book written and adapted to suite the needs of the institute "church". Those needs are and were not the good of the people, but power.

Putting all your faith in religion/bible/church is literally putting all your faith in an outside source. You neglect your own divinity, and freely give up your own inner strength, responsibility and power (not talking negative power). You allow an outside source to control your life, your thoughts, your believes and let's be honest: you don't know the agenda of that outside source at all!
If you want to live like a flock of blind sheep, that's the way to go.

I would be interested in the original scriptures, but they're kept behind lock and key at the Vatican. Now isn't that strange? If they were congruent with what they preach, there wouldn't be a need to keep them hidden.

The above passage isn't written in the Bible nor can it be proven by science. The truths in many documents are "self evident", i.e., you either understand or you don't. The great documents stand the test of time and the Bible has done that beyond all other books.

There is the basic assumption that normal minds can grasp the works of great men and great documents.

No one ever said all men were great or that great documents can be understood by everyone.

I take the bible literally as written. I cross reference constantly with both the Hebrew and Greek concordances. I have also studied other books mentioned but not included in the bible. The Book of Enoch opened my eyes to a whole other dimension of my faith. I suggest that both believers and non believers give it a look.

many will say Yahweh took enoch but that does not mean he went to heaven. If that is true then Yahweh is not fair. as he says the dead will rise 1st then the living in a twinkling of an eye. Yahshua was the 1st born of the dead. Michael contended with satan over Moses bones in Jude. Enoch may of been taken away but my belief is to somewhere else on earth and he died or him taking him he was let to die. Most do not want to study the greek and Hebrew.. when u do u find the bible does not say what the English version does and the powers to be will or do not want the scriptures translated the right way. Preachers I have spoke with abouth this say they can't they would lose their jobs and how would they feed their families. I see this as no faith they will be judged harshly

Their is a bible that has been rejected done by scholars going through the Hebrew and Greek scriptures. The Institute of Scriptual Knowledge I believe they are in Maryland and S Africa. You are correct in your thinking

Yahshua said to be perfect as your father in Heaven is perfect. We know Yahshua being perfect is what made him the Spotless Lamb of Yahweh. How was he perfect. He kept the Torah. The law the spiritual law of the Torah. so their is a guideline to perfection but we have thrown the baby out with the bath water and this has caused great confusion

As a former atheist, I can now say the Holy Spirit guides me and miracles really do happen. So much of the original bible has been lost from the variances in the translations. Many times one language will have a completely different definition for a word or no word for a written word. When I read the bible I ask the Holy Spirit guide me to the truth as I read it. I can say that I feel more power when I open my bible than when I read it on my phone. There is definitely power in the bible. I have never opened up a book that I could actually feel life come out of it. Before I accepted Jesus as my Saviour, it was just a boring long book. Now....well it is very hard to explain, but I can feel it especially in between the lines.
