“Good-Bye For Now”



There are so many things I have learned.
And I hope in returned.
With my words you have read.
I do hope it has made some look ahead.
The times that maybe you were down.
They made you take the time to look around.
I have never tried to mislead.
I have always been honest in everything I have said.
I have opened my heart for all to look.
It has always been like an open book.
Questions I have never forbid.
For I have nothing to hid.
For now I’m distraught.
And need to take the time and give life a thought.
I thought I knew.
What I wanted to do.
But it seems.
I was wrong about my dreams.
I don’t want to write about sad things.
For those only brings.
Others down.
And upon there face a frown.
So I have decided for the time right now.
I’m going to give my self the time to allow.
Take the time to figure out.
What happen without a doubt?
I will not leave a claim.
Nor will I lay the blame.
On anyone but me.
I should have really opened my eyes to see.
Things don’t come that fast out of no where.
I should have been more aware.
That wall I had built that was spilled.
It is time to rebuild.
So as of today.
For a while I’m going away.
I will never forget.
Nor will I ever regret.
All those I call my friend.
You will always be in my heart till the end.
Please do not ask why.
But for now I must say good-bye.
