Nah, me and my m8s follow Celtic all over Europe Crystal. We only go to support them, not to fight rival fans like some other teams supporters do. I worked in Munster, Germany before and me and my m8s used to go for nights out in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Miss all that! 
Haha, heard that before, esp ppl raving about Amsterdam. I've never been out in Amsterdam, only once in Rotterdam. But driving from Munster to A'dam or Rotterdam?  Holy smokes ... That's quite a drive
Rotterdam is closest to me, I live in the south. But I'm not much of a city girl

sometimes it is a scammer
sometimes it is not you can tell really not so much by their use of the english lang....but what they are saying to you...

Yep, we worked on a building site in Munster, but once a month Crystal, we would jump in the cars and go out in Holland, for a change, as Munster was full of British squaddies all wanting to fight with any1 and every1 when they were drunk. Rotterdam was where i'd get off the ferry when I came back from the UK also.

Done that ferry too twice, but Rotterdam - Hull. Guess you slept in the car after a night out in Rotterdam? Can't image you lot driving all the way back to Munster after a good night out! And if you do do that sort of thing when in Holland, pls inform me, so I can steer clear of the motorways near Rotterdam, lol. |

Nah, we'd just book into a hotel and drive back to Germany, the next day Crystal. The overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, was the 1 that i'd get when I was coming back from the UK and from Zeebrugge to Dover on the way back!

Zeebrugge - Dover??? I done Calais - Dover, didn't know there's a ferry to Dover from Zeebrugge?? Not a particular straight line? Long drive, btw, all the way from Dover back to Scotland? Guess you don't mind driving ... |

I'd drive to Zeebrugge. 4 hours to Dover, then drive to my Aunts house in Essex, crash there overnight, then drive back home the next day. Yeah, I love driving. Used to drive to jobs all over the UK, but then I had to bring up my son. Now I work for myself.

Have friends over there. Maldon, Southminster, Wickford. Even been on local radio there,  My friends do a radio-show. We did a gig over there too for our friend's 50th. So I even been on stage in the UK, Ok, it was just a tractor shed, but that's not the point,

My Aunt stays in Romford, but I know all those places that you're on about. My sons mum is from Essex, but she didn't want the responsibility of being a mum, so my son came to stay with me in 1999. So you played in a barn? Ha ha, don't tell me that the Cows and Pigs were dancing away, or i'll drop my laptop!

And a horribly wobbly stage lol. Think the band was somewhat worried about their equipment, hahaha. Was freezing cold, no heating, december. And then the guests turned up, UK girls in summer dresses???? Dancing barefoot on the concrete floor, mind you, freezing outdoors, no heating? I couldn't believe it, There was me on stage with a coat and scarf, lol.
But no, I didn't see any pigs dancing, but f*** knows what went on outside |

I had a couple of messages last week that were good English but then some words were not used correctly. I asked if he was a scammer and I have not heard back Yet.

Hey crystal So.... If I were you, I wouldn't bother responding... but that's just my opinion. It seems that every time I receive a message like that..... they end up being a scammer or a guy looking to marry me because I'm his one true love On the other hand, there are many Americans who purposely use the wrong tenses. Usually the younger crowd.. I for one made sure to not get in that habit when growing up... IDK it's a bit confusing. I guess as long as they aren't trying to marry you...... You'll be fine

I'm from an island .Jamaica to be exact ,god knows our ENGLISH is far from perfect, but don't feel its safe to say 'since a person have bad English that automatically put them into the scamming bucket .
