I am thinking all the guys on here that are giving their emails and phone numbers are certainly not genuine; so you can eliminate them right off the bat.

Personally I'm to paranoid to give my number out. I've watched to many true crime shows. I might give my email addy. But I wouldn't post it publicly like so many people do with their phone numbers. That's got to be the number one way to get spam sent to your phone.

So I actually looked up the definition of "genuine" just to make sure that I have a topicality point for this.

Really, the issue becomes that most people are just disingenuous towards themselves in some form or another.

So if a guy is misrepresenting himself and you recognize that, the question becomes whether or not it's intentional. If it is, he's mildly delusional about certain aspects of his personality (and, really, aren't we all?) or he's trying to be manipulative and failing.

So... if I were to throw advice out there, definitely hang out in the forums more. Every person I've met off of this site - at parties, in relationships, whatever - has been someone that has made their presence known in the forums.
