if i live in the 21st century with a medieval brain ... come on .... religion ! Errr ... I live in the 21st century and do not have a medieval brain. I do know, however, religion is still an issue in the world. Religion still causes wars and terrorist attacks, so if it's still such a big issue to a great many ppl, it is likely to be a big issue between potential partners. I for one am not religious, but very intuitive and spiritual. I do (energy/aura/chakra) readings & healings for instance, tarot, work with crystals and so on. An extremely religious person would probably consider me a heretic. Meaning I can't and won't ever get involved with someone like that. I don't condone any extreme form of believe by the way. I think it's wrong to limit yourself, I believe in keeping an open mind and being respectful, regardless of religion. Extremists are non of that, they try to convert, often even with violence. I have met devout Christians who were very respectful, non-judgemental etc. I respect that. But don't think I could live with it as you won't be able to share a part of yourself in such a relationship, a part that is important to both. What if I'd want to talk about something I intuitively picked up and my partner would start quoting the bible Or call me a blasphemer |

would difference in religion affect yo love 4 someone? love, is an emotion,, outside influence cant affect love it can, however, determine our actions in expressing love without religion,, we may find it fine to sleep with our siblings , our parents, or whomever/whatever else we felt 'love' for I think there is a tendency to want to commit to likeminded , like valued , individuals,, which probably wouldn't change even if values weren't given a label of 'religion' |

Yes, it would affect my love relationship if a man did not know God. Without knowing God, people do not know what real love is, in their relationship, as a couple. IMO That's why you have so many divorces and immoral character of people, not having a relationship with God. Not about any Religion! It is about a relationship with Christ. |

With legs like yours I really wouldn't care which god you choose to bow and crawl to.

Jehovah God does exist, whether you believe it or not, that's your choice. BTW I do know myself. |

Jehovah God does exist, whether you believe it or not yeah , i can see his existence and justice in the wars and crimes all over this world since the creation of religions .... i think we went so far off the topic , with full respect to your believes ... |

.... i think we went so far off the topic , Yes, but this does make clear just how important religion is in a relationship. Funny thing is, I've never ever felt attracted to a man who was (very) religious. And it's not written all over someone, so in a way peculiar. Do we sniff it out? lol |

I'd never try to get to know a religious person.

Their religion wouldn't effect my feelings for somebody.
Their using their religion to try and effect my life style would. |
