Then post your photo on your profile so I'll know who to let the lunatics shoot before I take them down.
And to the dreamer who says the chances of such violence happening in a Starbucks is the same as winning a lottery, he clearly isn't thinking clearly enough to realize that people are winning lotteries in this country every week. Sadly for him, you don't have to buy a $1 ticket to enter this one. What a waste of time this has been. Feel free to rant and rave some more because I'm moving on. G. |

I believe it was just last week in New York, some crazy dude was walking around in traffic. When the police arrived the man put his hand in his pocket. The well trained police, who were, presumably, qualified and certified in the use of firearms, fired several rounds wounding three bystanders. The crazy dude was uninjured. If some nutbag walks into a starbucks with a gun and wants to rob the place, the last thing I want is some other nutbag who thinks he's a superhero to turn a simple robbery into the O.K. corral. |

His point is simple gun free zones do NOTHING to help prevent shootings, all they do is make it easier for any criminal to come in and open fire at will, cause you know they don't obey any laws. Bans just punish the innocent, never the target they claim it's to stop. And sure it may just be Starbucks now, but what happens when it spreads? Then what? Do you REALLY want a society where the only ones that have access to weapons are those who intend to do harm by using them vs. protecting themselves and others? I sure as hell don't. do you want a society where those who own establishments have no say in what they permit in their establishment? there is no proof gun free zones have any negative impact or positive impact on gun crime certainly , those who are caught in those zones with weapons who MAY have harmed others are being stopped,,, there are plenty of gun toting, cowboy wanna be , communities in this country,,,, their establishments owners have no MANDATE to refuse guns,, so IM not concerned find an establishment that suits you, and support your constitution in their RIGHT to deny service under certain conditions,,, |

do you want a society where those who own establishments have no say in what they permit in their establishment?
We already do. They banned smoking in bars. |

We already do. They banned smoking in bars. SOME bars still plenty that allow it,,, |

We already do. They banned smoking in bars. And I stopped going to them when they did. Hopefully the tavern league will get upset enough over lost customers that they will bribe enough politicians to bring the atmosphere back to bars that I once enjoyed. |

Words sadly are not sufficient to express my sincere thanks to all of those (now-fellow) far-left and liberal thinkers for showing me the errors of my way. Now I am at peace with this violent world, and no matter if I'm in a restaurant with friends and family, on a subway train, or sitting on the steps of the public library reading a copy of Robert Frost, if a bad person tries to shoot me, chop off my limbs with a machete, or incinerate me with a homemade molotov cocktail, I will gladly give my life without lifting a finger to defend myself in order to ensure the safety of all those in the immediate vicinity. Again, I thank everyone for showing me that personal defense is just for paranoid cowards and sissies. Voilent crominals, do your worst: I'm now certain that in the end Justice Will Prevail. In fact, I may move to Detroit.

I did move on and then came back to see what type of nonsense I may be able to prompt people to say. Thankd for making it worthwhile again.

I like Starbucks and would not want to not go there, because customers have guns. |
